Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana perspektif sutradara dalam menciptakan pesan dalam sebuah film dan diterapkan melalui komponen mise en scene yang ada pada film pendek berjudul “Merawat”. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menjawab permasalahan terkait bagaimana sebuah pesan dalam film bisa tersampaikan dengan baik. Sebuah pesan yang diciptakan dari proses pra produksi, lalu diterapkan ketika proses produksi, dan dikuatkan pada tahap post produksi. Untuk melakukan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan dasar observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil yaitu perspektif sutradara dalam proses menyampaikan pesan pada sebuah film yang dikerjakan dari proses pra produksi, produksi, hingga post produksi, sutradara menetapkan, menerapkan, dan menguatkan pesan yang ingin disampaikan dari film pendek berjudul “Merawat”
English Abstract
This research discusses how the director's perspective in creating a message in a movie and applied through the mise en scene component in a short film entitled “Merawat”. This research seeks to answer problems related to how a message in a movie can be conveyed well. A message is created from the pre-production process, then applied during the production process, and strengthened in the post-production stage. To conduct this research, the author used qualitative research methods based on participatory observation and documentation. From the results of the research, it was found that the director's perspective in the process of conveying messages in a film that was done from preproduction, production, to post-production, the director determined, applied, and strengthened the message to be conveyed from a short film entitled “Merawat”
