Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh gaji, insentif, dan jaminan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Preshion Engineering Plastec Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh fluktuasi produktivitas yang diduga disebabkan oleh ketidakpuasan kerja. Faktor-faktor yang akan diteliti meliputi pengaruh gaji, insentif, dan jaminan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Teori-teori kepuasan kerja yang relevan juga dijelaskan, termasuk teori keadilan, teori dua faktor Herzberg, dan teori pengharapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian adalah PT Preshion Engineering Plastec di Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Preshion Engineering Plastec yang berjumlah 100 orang, dengan sampel sebanyak 90 karyawan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian, data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 29 for Mac. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, Uji asumsi klasik juga dilakukan untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penelitian. Analisis regresi berganda juga akan dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Hasil analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa gaji, insentif, dan jaminan sosial secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan secara statistik. Selanjutnya, hasil uji t parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaji, insentif, dan jaminan sosial masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dalam kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan kompensasi yang adekuat dan adil, termasuk gaji yang layak, insentif yang memadai, dan jaminan sosial yang komprehensif, dapat meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan kerja karyawan

English Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of salary, incentives, and social security on employee job satisfaction at PT Preshion Engineering Plastec Surabaya. The background of this study is driven by fluctuations in productivity suspected to be caused by job dissatisfaction. The factors to be examined include the impact of salary, incentives, and social security on employee job satisfaction. Relevant job satisfaction theories are also explained, including equity theory, Herzberg's two-factor theory, and expectancy theory. This research employs an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. The research location is PT Preshion Engineering Plastec in Surabaya, East Java. The population of this study is all employees of PT Preshion Engineering Plastec totaling 100 people, with a sample of 90 employees. Data were collected using a questionnaire as a research instrument, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 29 for Mac. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistical analysis, and classical assumption tests were also conducted to ensure the validity and reliability of the research instrument. Multiple regression analysis will also be conducted to determine the relationship between the variables under study. The results of hypothesis analysis indicate that salary, incentives, and social security collectively have a significant statistical influence on employee job satisfaction. Furthermore, the results of partial t-test show that the variables of salary, incentives, and social security each have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. In conclusion, this study asserts that meeting adequate and fair compensation needs, including fair salary, adequate incentives, and comprehensive social security, can enhance employee job satisfaction levels.
