Abstract
Peningkatan jumlah limbah ampas teh yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat, dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Adanya hal tersebut diperlukan pemanfaatan berupa pengolahan limbah menjadi pupuk kompos. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mempelajari pengaruh perbandingan dosis ampas teh, daun lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) dan kalsium pada kompos berdasarkan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan percobaan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 16 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan dengan pemberian variasi perbandingan dosis daun lamtoro (0:0,5:1:2) dan variasi perbandingan dosis kalsium (0:1:2:3) pada ampas teh dengan total dosis bahan sebesar 400 gram. Hasil penelitian suhu dan pH mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh antar perlakuan. Hasil akhir suhu telah memenuhi SNI 19- 7030-2004 yaitu berkisar 27°C-30°C. Pada hasil akhir pH pada perlakuan tanpa penambahan kalsium telah memenuhi SNI 19-7030-2004 yaitu 7,4 dan perlakuan dengan penambahan kalsium belum memenuhi SNI 19-7030- 2004 yaitu berkisar 7,6-8,2. Hasil penelitian kadar air mengindikasikan tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan antar perlakuan dengan rerata kadar air yang belum memenuhi SNI 19-7030-2004 yaitu berkisar 51%-78%. Pengujian kandungan C,N,P,K, dan C/N rasio pada perlakuan terbaik mendapatkan hasil kandungan C,N,P,K yang telah memenuhi SNI 19-7030-2004 dan C/N rasio yang belum memenuhi SNI 19-7030-2004. Pada hasil kandungan C, N, dan K tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan P16 (66,7 gram ampas teh + 200 gram kalsium + 133,3 gram daun lamtoro) yaitu 15,54% dan 1,79%. Pada hasil kandungan P tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan P5 (266,7 gram ampas teh + 133,3 gram daun lamtoro) yaitu 2,81%. Pada hasil kandungan C/N rasio hasil tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan kontrol yaitu 9,18%.
English Abstract
The increasing amount of tea pulp waste generated by the community can cause environmental pollution. The existence of this requires utilization in the form of waste processing into compost fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the dose ratio of tea pulp, lamtoro leaves (Leucaena leucocephala) and calcium on compost based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). This study used the experimental design method of the Randomized Group Design (RAK) method with 16 treatments and 3 repetitions by giving variations in the dose ratio of lamtoro leaves (0: 0.5: 1: 2) and variations in the dose ratio of calcium (0: 1: 2: 3) to tea grounds with a total dose of 400 grams of material. The results of the temperature and pH studies indicated an influence between treatments. The final result of temperature had met SNI 19-7030-2004, which was in the range of 27°C- 30°C. The final result of pH in the treatment without calcium addition had met SNI 19-7030-2004, which was 7,4 and the treatment with calcium addition hadn’t met SNI 19-7030-2004, which was in the range of 7,6-8,2. The results of the water content study indicated that there was no significant effect between treatments with an average water content that hadn’t meet SNI 19- 7030-2004, which ranged from 51%-78%. Testing the content of C, N, P, K, and C / N ratio in the best treatment obtained the results of C, N, P, K content that had met SNI 19-7030-2004 and C/N ratio that hadn’t met SNI 19-7030- 2004. The highest C, N, and K contents were obtained in the P16 treatment (66,7 grams of tea pulp + 200 grams of calcium + 133,3 grams of lamtoro leaves), namely 15,54% and 1,79%. The highest P content was found in treatment P5 (266,7 grams of tea pulp + 133,3 grams of lamtoro leaves), which was 2,81%. The highest C/N ratio was found in the control treatment, which was 9,18%.
