Abstract

Penelitian berkaitan dengan gangguan teknis pada aplikasi Mekari Talenta dimana sistem seringkali down saat jam absensi. Penelitian berfokus pada perspektif end user dan high level. Teridentifikasi dampak seperti ketidakakuratan data absensi, pengurangan gaji, hingga dampak strategis seperti kecurangan absensi, penurunan KPI, loyalitas karyawan, dan citra perusahaan. Solusi mitigasi dilakukan dengan melakukan perancangan UI fitur absensi ulang otomatis dan rekap gaji menggunakan pendekatan design thinking. Perancangan dari sisi UI (User Interface) dilakukan sebagai langkah pertama yang penting dilakukan untuk memahami kebutuhan dan tuntutan pengguna terhadap fitur sebelum masuk ke pengembangan software. Proses testing dilakukan melalui usability testing dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Iterasi prototype dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yaitu setelah pertama setelah melakukan usability testing dan kedua setelah UEQ. Hasil akhir UEQ menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah variabel telah mendapatkan penilaian “good” dari pengguna pada aspek efisiensi (efficiency), stimulasi (stimulation) dan kebaruan (novelty). dan mendapatkan penilaian “above average” (diatas rata rata) pada aspek daya tarik (attractiveness), kejelasan (perspicuity) dan ketepatan (dependability). Meskipun secara umum iterasi UI sudah dianggap baik dan mendapatkan persetujuan akhir dari pengguna, diharapkan adanya peningkatan UI pada beberapa aspek seperti attractiveness, perspicuity, dan dependability yang masih mendapat nilai “above average” untuk menjawab kebutuhan pengguna lebih maksimal.

English Abstract

This research pertains to technical disruptions in the Mekari Talenta application, where the system frequently experiences downtime during attendance hours. The study focuses on the end user and high-level perspectives. Identified impacts include inaccuracies in attendance data, salary deductions, and strategic consequences such as attendance fraud, decreased KPIs, employee loyalty, and company image. Mitigation solutions are implemented through designing UI features for automatic attendance retries and salary summaries using a design thinking approach. UI design is undertaken as a crucial initial step to understand user needs and demands for features before delving into software development. Testing processes include usability testing and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Prototype iterations occur twice: first after usability testing and second after the UEQ. The final UEQ results indicate that several variables received a "good" rating from users in efficiency, stimulation, and novelty aspects, while receiving an "above average" rating in attractiveness, perspicuity, and dependability aspects. Although overall UI iterations are considered satisfactory and have received final approval from users, improvements in certain aspects such as attractiveness, perspicuity, and dependability, which still received an "above average" rating, are expected to better meet user needs.
