Abstract

Validitas pengukuran dapat menjadi ancaman dalam alat tes psikologi. Diketahui ciri tes yang rentan akan validitas salah satunya yakni menggunakan kombinasi favorabel dan unfavorabel, salah satunya adalah Ethnic Identity Scale. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat properti psikometri skala identitas etnis yang dimodifikasi semua itemnya menjadi favorabel. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 201 siswa yang berdomisili di Malang yang diambil dari SMA Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) dengan menggunakan teknik non random sampling berjenis purposive sampling. Paradigma CFA yang dibuat didasarkan oleh model yang berkorelasi dan tidak berkorelasi untuk melihat kecocokan model, diproses dengan R Studio Cloud versi 4.3.1 melalui package Lavaan dan SemPlot. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kedua model tidak cocok dengan data, sehingga kedua model dikategorikan tidak begitu baik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kecocokan model Ethnic Identity Scale perlu tinjauan lebih lanjut untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas skala demi meningkatkan kualitas model

English Abstract

Measurement validity can be a threat in psychological tests. It is known that the characteristic of a psychological test that may potentially susceptible to poor validity is that it uses a combination of positive and negative statements, one of which is the Ethnic Identity Scale. This study pursued to examine the psychometric properties of the Ethnic Identity Scale which modified all its items to be favorable. Among the 201 research participants from Malang, all were students from SMA Brawijaya Smart School, chosen through a purposive sampling method. The CFA paradigm that was created was based on correlated and uncorrelated models to inference model fit. The analysis was processed with R Studio Cloud version 4.3.1 with the Lavaan and SemPlot packages. The results showed that neither models fit the data, thus it was categorized in poor fit. The results of the research explain that the suitability of the Ethnic Identity Scale model requires further review to see the factors that influence the quality of the scale in order to improve the quality of the model
