Abstract
Tari tradisional adalah salah satu kesenian yang banyak ditemukan di provinsi Jawa Timur. Cepatnya pekermbangan zaman saat ini dapat mengakibatkan tari tradisional kurang diminati, karena tari modern lebih populer dan diminati oleh kalangan anak muda. Maka dari itu perlu dibuatlah inovasi pada media atau sarana yang berisi informasi tari tradisional dalam bentuk aplikasi berbasis Android untuk mengenalkan tari tradisional yang mudah digunakan dan mudah untuk dipahami, dengan menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality. Aplikasi ini dirancang menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle. Aplikasi ini dibuat agar dapat membantu khususnya anak muda serta masyarakat umum di Jawa Timur untuk melestarikan tari tradisional.
English Abstract
Traditional dance is one of the arts found in the province of East Java. The rapid development of the current era can lead to less popular traditional dance because modern dance is more popular and in-demand by young people. Therefore it is necessary to make innovations in the media or means that contain traditional dance information in the form of Android-based applications to introduce traditional dance that is easy to use and easy to understand, using Augmented Reality technology. This application is designed using the System Development Life Cycle method. This application was createdvii to be able to help especially young people and the general public in East Java to preserve traditional dance.
