Abstract
Tugas akhir ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam tugas dan tanggung jawab talent coordinator terhadap tim produksi dan talent dalam proses produksi sebuah film. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi. Melalui tugas akhir ini, penulis ingin mengidentifikasi koordinasi yang terjalin antara talent coordinator dengan talent maupun talent coordinator dengan tim produksi. Talent Coordinator memegang peran krusial dalam sebuah produksi film untuk menjembatani komunikasi antara talent dengan tim produksi agar terjalin hubungan harmonis dan koordinasi yang efisien. Kompetensi dalam manajemen waktu dan komunikasi diperlukan dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab talent coordinator dengan baik. Talent Coordinator memiliki peran penting namun keberadaannya seringkali kurang terlihat dalam industry perfilman. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi praktisi perfilman dan kontribusi dalam literatur akademis terkait manajemen produksi film.
English Abstract
This final assignment is the result of research conducted by the author with the aim of examining in depth the duties and responsibilities of the talent coordinator towards the production team and talent in the film production process. The method used in data collection is a qualitative approach with a participatory observation and documentation approach. Through this final assignment, the author wants to identify the coordination that exists between the talent coordinator and the talent and the talent coordinator and the production team. The Talent Coordinator plays a crucial role in a film production to bridge communication between talent and the production team so that there is a harmonious relationship and efficient coordination. Competence in time management and communication is needed to carry out the duties and responsibilities of a talent coordinator well. Talent Coordinators have an important role but their existence is often less visible in the film industry. It is hoped that this research can be a guide for film practitioners and contribute to the literary academy regarding film production management.
