Abstract
Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi strategi social media marketing pada akun Instagram PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia dengan upaya untuk meningkatkan interaksi followers akun @elsewedyelectricindonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan Marketing communication manager PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia dan dokumentasi melalui aktivitas di akun Instagram @elsewedyelectricindonesia dan followers @elsewedyelectricindonesia. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa variasi dan pemanfaatan fitur yang tersedia oleh Instagram dalam konten menjadi faktor utama rendahnya interaksi. Dengan meningkatkan kualitas konten, konsistensi, dan interaksi dengan pengikut, PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan strategi Social Media Marketingnya pada akun Instagram @elsewedyelectricindonesia
English Abstract
This observation aims to find out how the social media marketing strategy is implemented on PT's Instagram account. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia with efforts to increase interaction among followers of the @elsewedyelectricindonesia account. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques used, namely, observation techniques, in-depth interviews with the Marketing communications manager of PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia and documentation through activities on the Instagram account @elsewedyelectricindonesia and followers @elsewedyelectricindonesia. Observation results show that the variety and use of features available by Instagram in content are the main factors for low interaction. By improving content quality, consistency and interaction with followers, PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia can increase the success of its Social Media Marketing strategy on the Instagram account @elsewedyelectricindonesia.
