Abstract
Perpustakaan tidak hanya menjadi letak penyimpanan buku saja, namun juga memiliki peran penting sebagai salah satu lembaga pusat informasi yang di dalamnya memiliki fasilitas dan layanan yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pemustakanya. Namun pada hal ini fasilitas berupa Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) belum secara maksimal digunakan oleh pemustaka. Hal ini disebabkan karena pemustaka kurang memahami fungsi, cara akses dan cara penggunaan dari OPAC tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada civitas akademika terkait bagaimana cara mengakses dan menggunakan OPAC di UPT Perpustakaan Unversitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Dalam prosesnya peneliti menggunakan pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini berupa pembuatan rancangan konten yang kemudian diposting pada sosial media Instagram milik UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Selain itu, hasil dari infografis dicetak dan diletakkan di ruang komputer Online Public Access Catalogue yang terletak di lantai 2 dan lantai 3 UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.
English Abstract
The library is not only a place for storing books, but also has an important role as an information center in which it has facilities and services that have been adapted to the needs of its users. But in this case the facilities are:Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) has not been used optimally by users. This is because users do not understand the function, how to access and how to use the OPAC. This study aims to introduce the academic community regarding how to access and use the OPAC at the UPT Library, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. In the process researchers used data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this final project are in the form of creating content designs which are then posted on Instagram social media owned by the UPT Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. In addition, the results of the infographics are printed and placed in the computer roomOnline Public Access Catalogue which is located on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor of UPT Library, University of Muhammadiyah Malang
