Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi dalam menghapus ruang dan waktu juga berpengaruh besar terhadap indikasi krisis karakter dan identitas serta integritas di kalangan generasi muda saat ini. Namun, untuk meminimalisasi hal-hal tersebut dibutuhkan upaya membangkitkan rasa nasionalisme yang dapat di wujudkan dengan kreativitas yang dilakukan oleh para pelaku industry kreatif. Peneliti melakukan pengamatan langsung dalam menemukan proses pengenalan kebudayaan Indonesia melalui gambar 2D ilustrasi dalam credit scene musik video Wonderland Indonesia 2. Wonderland Indonesia merupakan video musik berdurasi 10 menit 52 detik yang mengusung kebudayaan daerah yang ditampilkan secara megah, unik dan kreatif dalam mempresentasikan keindahan nusantara. Peneliti akan fokus pada proses pembuatan credit scene dan merchandise dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kebudayaan Indonesia. Metode penelitian digunakan yaitu mix method dengan metode pendekatan visual storytelling yang mengacu pada hasil pengumpulan data seperti sejarah kerajaan nusantara dan budaya di Indonesia yang akan menjadi acuan perancangan visual. Hasil perancangan ini berupa perancangan credit scene ilustrasi musik video “Wonderland Indonesia 2” dan merchandise berupa t-shirt, tote bags, sticker pack, dan boneka, serta media pendukung seperti poster infografis.
English Abstract
Technological developments in erasing space and time also have a major influence on indications of a crisis of character, identity and integrity among today's young generation. However, to minimize these things, efforts are needed to generate a sense of nationalism which can be realized through creativity carried out by creative industry players. The researcher made direct observations to discover the process of introducing Indonesian culture through 2D illustrated images in the credit scene of the music video Wonderland Indonesia 2. Wonderland Indonesia is a 10 minute 52 second music video that conveys regional culture which is displayed magnificently, uniquely and creatively in presenting the beauty of the archipelago. Researchers will focus on the process of creating credit scenes and merchandise in an effort to increase public awareness of Indonesian culture. The research method used is a mix method with a visual storytelling approach which refers to the results of data collection such as the history of the archipelago kingdoms and culture in Indonesia which will become a reference for visual design. The results of this design are credit scene designs, illustrations of the music video "Wonderland Indonesia 2" and merchandise in the form of t-shirts, tote bags, sticker packs and dolls, as well as supporting media such as infographic posters.
