Abstract
Berdasarkan data preliminary research tim penelitian payung (2023) terhadap tenaga kependidikan (tendik) Universitas Brawijaya dan hasil penelitian terdahulu dalam lingkup tendik secara umum, menyebutkan bahwa permasalahan terkait kinerja individu masih menjadi masalah utama. Guna meningkatkan kinerja individu, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dapat menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong. Adapun pemilihan subjek tendik pada penelitian ini dipilih sebab masih minim ditemukan penelitian yang mengaitkan OCB dengan kinerja individu dalam ranah tenaga kependidikan utamanya di Universitas Brawijaya. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu, untuk menguji peran OCB terhadap kinerja individual tendik Universitas Brawijaya. Variabel OCB diukur menggunakan alat ukur OCB yang dikembangkan oleh William dan Anderson dengan membagi OCB ke dalam dua bentuk, Organizational Citizenship Behavior-Individual (OCBI) dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior-Organization (OCBO). Variabel kinerja individual diukur dengan Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) oleh Koopmans. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 103 tendik Universitas Brawijaya. Data dianalisis menggunakan multiple linear regression. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat peran OCBI terhadap kinerja individual, peran OCBO terhadap kinerja individual secara parsial, dan peran OCBI OCBO terhadap kinerja individual secara simultan. Implikasi pada penelitian ini dapat menjadi perhatian khusus bagi Universitas Brawijaya agar lebih memperhatikan budaya saling membantu dan iklim kerja positif dalam instansi mereka sehingga baik dari kedua bentuk OCB, yaitu OCBI dan OCBO mampu memberikan sumbangan peran yang sama tinggi dalam kinerja sehari-hari.
English Abstract
Based on preliminary research data from performance research team (2023) on education personnel of Brawijaya University and the results of previous research among education personnel in general, it states that problems related to individual performance are still a major problem. In order to improve individual performance, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) can be one of the driving factors. The selection subject in this study focused on education personnel because there is still a lack of research that links OCB with individual performance, especially at Brawijaya University This study aims to examine the role of OCB on individual performance of Brawijaya University education personnel. OCB variables were measured using OCB measurement tools developed by William and Anderson by dividing OCB into two forms, Organizational Citizenship Behavior-Individual (OCBI) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior-Organization (OCBO). Individual performance variables were measured by the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) by Koopmans. The method used quantitative correlation. This research was conducted on 103 education personnel of Brawijaya University. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that there is a role of OCBI on individual performance, the role of OCBO on individual performance partially, and the role of OCBI OCBO on individual performance simultaneously. The implication of this research can be a specificl concern for Brawijaya University to pay more attention to the culture of mutual assistance and positive work climate in their institutions so that both forms of OCB, namely OCBI and OCBO are able to contribute the same high role in daily performance
