Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh perbedaan cumulative score dan factor score dalam menghasilkanlestimasi person characteristic pada jenis respon politomus. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data yang bersumber dari Harvard Dataverse, dari hasil pengujian skala Disgust Scale Revised (DS-R) Hebrew Version oleh Berger dan Anaki (2014) terhadap 1339 subjek penduduk Israel beragama Yahudi. Analisis dilakukan terhadap Disgust Scale Revised (DS-R) Hebrew Version yang terdiri dari dimensi core disgust, animal reminder disgust, dan contamination-based disgust. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pearson product moment correlation, exploratory factor analysis (factor score), dan analisis statistik deskriptif berupa histogram dan scatter plot. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan posisi individu berdasarkan estimasi person characteristics menggunakan cumulative score dan factor score, dan factor score dapat menghasilkan estimasi yang lebih informatif dan spesifik
English Abstract
The objective of this research is to determine the extent of the difference of cumulative score and factor score in generating person characteristic estimation in polythomous response model. The data used in this research is derived from the Harvard Dataverse, from the results of the Disgust Scale Revised (DS-R) Hebrew Version testing by Berger and Anaki (2014) on 1339 Jewish Israeli subjects. This research will conduct an analysis of the Disgust Scale Revised (DS-R) Hebrew Version which consists of dimensions related to core disgust, animal reminder disgust, and contamination-based disgust. The analytical techniques used in this research are pearson product moment correlation, exploratory factor analysis (factor score), and descriptive statistical analysis in the form of histograms and scatter plots. The result of this study show there are differences in individual positions based on person characteristics estimation using cumulative score and factor score, and factor score can generates more informative and specific estimates.
