Abstract
Menurut Wikipedia, video klip (music video, MV) adalah sebuah film pendek atau video yang mendampingi alunan musik, umumnya sebuah lagu. Pentingnya sebuah video klip adalah sebagai penyampai pesan dan maksud yang terkandung dalam sebuah lagu. Disamping itu, pembuatan video klip juga mampu sebagai wadah kreativitas bagi pekerja seni, khususnya bagi musisi dan filmmaker. Video klip lagu Opera ini, bercerita mengenai kehidupan seseorang yang mengalami fase quarter-life crisis. Cerita dengan tema ini memerlukan sebuah visualisasi agar esensi dari musisi penciptanya dapat lebih jelas untuk dipahami oleh masyarakat luas, sekaligus dapat menjadi sarana hiburan dan pembelajaran bagi para penontonnya. Pembuatan sebuah video klip itu sendiri, tak lepas dari campur tangan seorang produser. Produser akan memastikan terlibat aktif dan memastikan kelancaran dalam semua tahapan proses pembuatan film, mulai dari pemunculan ide dan pengembangan hingga penyaluran proyek film tersebut. Dalam proses pembuatannya, tentu saja akan ada masalah yang akan terjadi baik dari internal maupun eksternal. Disinilah produser memegang peran penting untuk memastikan semua proses produksi berjalan dengan lancar. Salah satunya dengan membuat strategi cadangan dari perkiraan contingency dari semua aspek produksi (contingency plan). Tujuannya guna mempersiapkan rencana cadangan jika terjadi hal-hal yang tidak terduga dan proses produksi dapat berjalan dengan semestinya
English Abstract
According to Wikipedia, a video clip (music video, MV) is a short film or video that accompanies the music, usually a song. The importance of a video clip is to convey the message and intent contained in a song. Besides that, making video clips is also capable of being a place for creativity for art workers, especially for musicians and filmmakers. Video clip of Opera song, tells about the life of a person who is experiencing a quarter-life crisis phase. Stories with this theme require a visualization so that the essence of the musician who created it can be more clearly understood by the wider community, and being a means of entertainment and learning for the audience. Making a video clip itself, can not be separated from the intervention of a producer. Producers will ensure that they are actively involved and ensure smoothness in all stages of the filmmaking process, from idea generation and development to distribution of the film project. In the manufacturing process, of course, there will be problems that will occur both internally and externally. This is where the producer plays an important role to ensure all production processes run smoothly. One of them is by making a backup strategy of contingency estimates from all aspects of production. (contingency plans). The goal is to prepare a backup plan in case of unexpected things and the production process can run properly.
