Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran produser dalam merancang sebuah film dokumenter, “Beskap Surjan, Desa Mawa Cara Negara Mawa Tata” yang bertopik kebudayaan. Serta menganalisis kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi dilapangan saat produksi film dokumenter. Dimana film dokumenter ini mengangkat salah satu corak kebudayaan berupa busana adat yang sering dijumpai disekitar kita. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengambilan data dengan observasi partisipatif dan studi literatur. Melalui penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Peran produser dalam merancang sebuah film dokumenter berawal dari penyusunan ide dan riset, budgeting, menghubungi narasumber, mengatur perizinan lokasi, mengatur persewaan alat, dan mengatur rundown produksi. (2) Dalam menghadapi kendala produksi dilapangan diperlukan komunikasi dan kerja sama yang baik sehingga menghasilkan keputusan yang terbaik bagi tim
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of the producer in designing a documentary film, "Beskap Surjan, Desa Mawa Cara Negara Mawa Tata" with the topic of culture. As well as analyzing the obstacles and solutions encountered in the field during documentary film production. Where this documentary film raises one of the cultural features in the form of traditional clothing that is often found around us. This study uses a type of qualitative research. Methods of data collection by participatory observation and literature study. Through this research it was concluded that: (1) The role of the producer in designing a documentary film begins with preparing ideas and research, budgeting, contacting sources, arranging location permits, arranging equipment rental, and arranging the production rundown. (2) In facing production constraints in the field, good communication and cooperation are needed so as to produce the best decisions for the team.
