Abstract
Teknologi saat ini telah menjadi bagian penting dari masyarakat yang mempengaruhi pola kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi, yang mana hal ini diiringi dengan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat yang dibuktikan dengan adanya layanan transportasi e-ticketing. Aplikasi Access by KAI adalah salah satu aplikasi e-ticketing yag menjadi solusi paktis yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan aksesibilitas yang tinggi dalam pola kehidupan sosial ekonomi. Berdasarkan data yang dikumpulakn dari Google Play, aplikasi Access by KAI memiliki rating 184,961 ulasan yang sebagian besar keluhan dari pengguna terkait dengan penjadwalan tiket seperti harga yang tertampil bukan harga pasti, seat kosong ditampilkan secara bersamaan, penampilan seat kelas harus di dropdown terlebih dahuluagar tertampil tiket secara keseluruhan. Dari permasalahan yang ditemukan, peneliti memiliki hipotesis awal yang dapat meningkatkan usability dengan menerapkan desain soft boundary, hard boundary, dan hide non-essential information. Melalui pengujian usability testing dengan melakukan pengujian signifikan atau uji beda dengan paired sample t-test kepada 10 orang mahasiswa FILKOM UB yang dibagi secara acak menjadi 2 grup untuk menentukan urutan pengujian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan task time eksperimen soft boundary dan hard boundary (p=0.35751394), terdapat perbedaan task time eksperimen hide non-essential information (p=0.012037314), tidak terdapat perbedaan kemudahan eksperimen soft boundary dan hard boundary (p=1), dan tidak terdapat perbedaan kemudahan eksperimen hide non-essetial information (p=0.422571628).
English Abstract
Technology has now become an important part of society that affects social and economic life patterns, which is accompanied by rapid technological developments as evidenced by the existence of e-ticketingtransportation services. The Access by KAI application is one of the e-ticketing applications that is a practical solution that can increase efficiency and high accessibility in socioeconomic life patterns. Based on data collected from Google Play, the Access by KAI application has a rating of 184,961 reviews, most of which are complaints from users related to ticket scheduling such as the price displayed is not the exact price, empty seats are displayed simultaneously, the appearance of the class seat must be dropped down first so that the ticket is displayed as a whole. From the problems found, researchers have an initial hypothesis that can improve usability by applying soft boundary, hard boundary, and hide non-essential information designs . Through usability testing by conducting a significant test or different test with a paired sample t-test to 10 FILKOM UB students who were randomly divided into 2 groups to determine the order of testing. The results show that there is no difference in task time of soft boundary and hard boundary experiments (p=0.35751394), there is a difference in task time of hide non-essential information experiments (p=0.012037314), there is no difference in ease of soft boundary and hard boundary experiments (p=1), and there is no difference in ease of hide nonessetial information experiments (p=0.422571628).
