Abstract

Internet telah berkembang menjadi suatu yang penting dalam menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari. Penulis mencoba mengeksplorasi kelebihan internet untuk membantu proses kegiatan di Gereja Kristen Jawa Pamulang khususnya kegiatan peminjaman ruangan dan inventaris gereja dimana sampai saat ini masih berjalan secara manual. Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem Informasi berbasis web dengan yang akan mengintegrasikan proses peminjaman ruangan dan inventaris gereja. Dengan pengembangan sistem informasi ini di Gereja Kristen Jawa Pamulang, penulis mengharapkan jika proses peminjaman ruangan dan inventaris dapat lebih mudah baik dari sisi pengguna yang akan meminjam maupun dari sisi pengurus gereja yang menangani proses peminjaman yang terjadi. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan SDLC Prototyping yang dilakukan dari perancangan kebutuhan dengan menggunakan analisis PIECES hingga kesimpulan dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel untuk implementasi dari sistem. Hasil implementasi tersebut berupa sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang memiliki fitur utama untuk melakukan pengajuan peminjaman ruangan dan inventaris. Sistem Informasi yang berhasil dikembangkan akan diuji sebanyak 3 kali untuk menguji fungsionalitas, usabilitasi, dan efisiensi. Sistem berhasil diuji menggunakan pengujian fungsional untuk validasi fungsi pada semua uji kasus dan mendapatkan bahwa sistem dapat memberikan semua kebutuhan yang sudah dirancangkan. Pengujian usabilitas telah dilakukan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale dan memperoleh nilai 81.83 yang termasuk dalam kategori acceptable dan excellent. Pengujian efisiensi mendapatkan bahwa sistem baru lebih efisien waktu sebesar 70,75% daripada sistem lama.

English Abstract

The internet has developed into something important in supporting everyday life. The author tries to explore the advantages of the internet to help the process of activities at the Gereja Kristen Jawa Pamulang, especially the activities of borrowing rooms and church inventory, which until now are still carried out manually. The research carried out by the author aims to develop a web-based information system that will integrate the process of borrowing rooms and church inventory. By developing this information system at the Gereja Kristen Jawa Pamulang, the author hopes that the process of borrowing rooms and inventory will be easier both from the side of the user who wants to borrow and from the side of the church administrators who handle the borrowing process that occurs. The author uses the SDLC Prototyping approach which is carried out from requirements design using PIECES analysis to conclusions and uses the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework for implementation of the system. The result of this implementation is a web-based application which has the main features for applying to borrow space and inventory. Information systems that are successfully developed will be tested 3 times to test functionality, usability and efficiency. The system was successfully tested using functional testing to validate the function in all test cases and found that the system could provide all the requirements that had been designed. Usability testing has been carried out using the System Usability Scale method and obtained a score of 81.83 which is included in the acceptable and excellent categories. Efficiency testing found that the new system was 70.75% more time efficient than the old system.
