Abstract

Adanya pandemi covid-19 yang terjadi pada awal tahun 2020 sangat berdampak pada perekonomian dunia, salah satunya sub sektor perusahaan pariwisata, hotel, dan restoran. Hal ini berdampak pada kinerja keuangan dan nonkeuangan perusahaan. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kinerja keuangan dan nonkeuangan sebelum dan sesudah pandemi pada perusahaan sub sektor pariwisata, restoran, dan hotel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menguji kinerja keuangan dan nonkeuangan perusahaan dengan menggunakan uji shapiro-wilk dan uji paired sample t-test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 5 (lima) perusahaan sub sektor pariwisata, restoran, dan hotel yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2023. Kinerja keuangan perusahaan diukur net profit margin dan inventory turnover. Kinerja nonkeuangan perusahaan diukur dengan menggunakan employee turnover. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kinerja keuangan dan nonkeuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah terjadi pandemi covid-19.

English Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020 was very influential for the global economy, particularly in the sub-sector of tourism, hotel, and restaurant. Companies in this area are highly affected in terms of both financial and non-financial performance. This quantitative descriptive research aims to identify differences among the tourism, hotel, and restaurant companies in terms of their financial and non-financial performance before and after the pandemic. Here Shapiro-Wilk test and paired samples t-test were incorporated. The samples are five companies in the sub-sector of tourism, hotel, and restaurant listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2023 period. the financial performance was measured using net profit margin and inventory turnover, while the non-financial performance was estimated using employee turnover. The results of the analysis have led to findings that the financial and non-financial performance of those companies are not different between the periods of before and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
