Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses penyusunan Newsletter “wearemachungers” Sebagai media komunikasi Universitas Ma Chung Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, literatur/teori, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa: (1) Proses penyusunan Newsletter “wearemachungers” terdiri dari 3 (tiga) tahap yaitu tahap awal, tahap produksi dan tahap distribusi (2) Penyusunan Newsletter “wearemachungers” dilakukan dalam jangka waktu terbitan setiap 6 (enam) bulan dikarenakan kurangnya sumber daya atau pihak-pihak yang menyusun Newsletter “wearemachungers” tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penulis memberikan beberapa saran: (1) Diharapkan jangka waktu terbitan Newsletter dapat dilakukan setiap 2 (dua) hingga 3 (tiga) bulan (2) Diharapkan pihak Universitas Ma Chung dapat mengkoordinasi pihak-pihak yang dapat membantu dalam penyusunan Newsletter tersebut (3) Diharapkan penyusunan Newsletter dapat meminimalisir jumlah halaman yang tercantum agar proses penyusunan tidak menghabiskan banyak waktu.
English Abstract
This study was aimed to evaluate the process of preparing “wearemachungers” newsletter as a communication media for University of Ma Chung Malang. The type of this research was qualitative-descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, literature/theory and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it was found out that : (1) The process of preparing the “wearemachungers” Newsletetr consist of 3 (three) stages, that is early stage, production stage and distribution stage (2) The reason that this “wearemachungers” newsletter published every 6 (six) months was due to lack of human resources that involved for preparing this newsletter. Based on this results, there’s a few suggestion : (1) It is expected that the period of publication for “wearemachungers” newsletter can be publish for every 2 (two) to 3 (three) months (2) It is expected that Ma Chung University can coordinate human resources that can be assists in the preparation of “wearemachungers” newsletter (3) It is expected that the amount of pages listed in the newsletter can be minimized so the preparation process does not take up much time.
