Abstract

English Abstract

The United Nations' Sustainable Development Agenda was launched as a response to the problems and challenges that the world faces today. This agenda served as the foundation for the Sustainable Development Goals campaign, which consists of seventeen objective points. Point number twelve, which targets the issue of sustainable consumption and production, includes the problem of food waste and food loss. The urgency of the problem of food waste and food loss is also reflected in various research results that have been conducted. Based on research, the largest food waste contributing sectors in Indonesia are the household and restaurant sectors. The large amount of food waste in Indonesia is influenced by the attitude of Indonesian people towards excess food, food management, and knowledge about food waste and how to handle it. A food bank program was established with the intention of addressing concerns with food waste management. Using a web-based data management system can help NGOs connect with donors and assist in the process of managing surplus food data received in order to prevent food waste. This can increase the efficiency of food bank programs run by non-profit organizations or non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
