Abstract
Universitas Brawijaya menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan proses pengambilan ijazah yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Keterlambatan dan kesalahan dalam proses tersebut berdampak pada mahasiswa yang membutuhkan ijazah untuk keperluan pekerjaan atau studi lanjutan. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah merancang sistem informasi pengambilan ijazah berbasis web, menggunakan framework Laravel dan basis data PHP MySQL. Sistem ini akan menggantikan proses manual dengan proses terotomatisasi dan terintegrasi, memberikan fitur pemantauan status pengambilan ijazah secara online, notifikasi kepada mahasiswa, pencatatan data mahasiswa, dan akses informasi terkait pengambilan ijazah. Diharapkan sistem informasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, mengurangi kesalahan manusiawi, dan memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan informasi terkait pengambilan ijazah. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi yang efektif dalam pengelolaan pengambilan ijazah di Universitas Brawijaya, dengan harapan proses tersebut dapat berjalan lebih efisien, akurat, dan memberikan kepuasan kepada mahasiswa.
English Abstract
Brawijaya University faces challenges in managing the manual process of certificate issuance. The delays and errors in this process have an impact on students who require their certificates for employment purposes or further studies. The proposed solution is to design a web-based certificate issuance information system using the Laravel framework and PHP MySQL database. This system will replace the manual process with an automated and integrated one, providing features such as online monitoring of certificate issuance status, notifications to students, student data recording, and access to information related to certificate issuance. It is expected that this information system will improve administrative efficiency, reduce human errors, and facilitate students in obtaining information regarding certificate issuance. This final project aims to provide an effective solution for managing certificate issuance at Brawijaya University, with the goal of achieving a more efficient, accurate, and satisfactory process for the students.
