Abstract
Arsip merupakan sumber informasi baik dalam bentuk file, gambar maupun video yang dibuat oleh organisasi yang memiliki kegunaan sebagai pusat ingatan dan disimpan secara teratur sehingga pada temu kembali arsip dapat ditemukan dengan cepat dan mudah tanpa memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Dalam proses pengarsipan surat masuk dan temu kembali arsip pada Jasa Raharja (KPJR) TK II Nganjuk terjadi kendala yaitu terbatasnya fasilitas scanner. Penggunaan fasilitas berupa scanner hanya bisa dilakukan pada satu device. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pengarsipan surat masuk dan temu kembali arsip hanya bisa dilakukan oleh satu pegawai saja. Sedangkan pegawai yang lain tidak bisa langsung menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang dilakukan sehingga dapat menghambat proses kerja yang ada di kantor Jasa Raharja (KPJR) TK II Nganjuk. Oleh sebab itu, untuk meminimalkan terjadinya penumpukan arsip dan tidak efektivitasan dalam kegiatan pengarsipan surat masuk, maka perlu adanya pemanfaatan aplikasi google drive sebagai media penyimpanan. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa : (1) dengan adanya aplikasi google drive ini para pegawai menilai dengan positif dan dapat dikatakan sangat membantu. (2) Perlu dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi kepada para pegawai mengenai kegiatan pengarsipan surat masuk dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi google drive.
English Abstract
Archives are a source of information in the form of files, images and videos created by organizations that have a function as a memory center and are stored regularly so that archive retrieval can be found quickly and easily without taking a long time. In the process of archiving incoming letters and retrieval of archives at Jasa Raharja (KPJR) TK II Nganjuk, there was a problem, namely the limited scanner facilities. The use of facilities in the form of a scanner can only be done on one device. This causes the process of archiving incoming mail and retrieving archives can only be done by one employee. While other employees cannot immediately complete the work being done so that it can hamper the work process in the Jasa Raharja (KPJR) TK II Nganjuk office. Therefore, to minimize the accumulation of archives and ineffectiveness in archiving incoming mail, it is necessary to use the Google Drive application as a storage medium. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. From the research results it is known that: (1) with the Google Drive application, employees evaluate it positively and can be said to be very helpful. (2) It is necessary to carry out outreach activities to employees regarding archiving incoming mail by utilizing the Google Drive application.
