Abstract
Art Director atau penata artistik merupakan salah satu peran penting dalam pembuatan sebuah karya visual. Proses pembuatan musik video melibatkan banyak elemen penting. Art Director dalam musik video “Bloom in Time” sangat penting untuk menciptakan visual yang menarik dan mendukung narasi atau konsep yang diinginkan oleh Eastcape atau sutradara musik video. Art Director bertanggung jawab atas pengaturan dan desain visual keseluruhan dari musik video tersebut. Art Director memiliki peran kunci dalam menciptakan estetika visual yang menarik dan mendukung pesan lagu dalam musik video. Art Director berkontribusi pada setiap tahap produksi, mulai dari perencanaan hingga eksekusi, untuk menciptakan pengalaman visual yang kohesif dan memukau bagi penonton. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana peran seorang Art Director atau penata artistik dalam semua proses pengambilan gambar musik video yang berjudul “Bloom in Time”. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah Kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: Penerapan teknik penataan artistik untuk memperkuat pesan dalam musik video “Bloom in Time”. Data tersebut diharapkan semakin menguatkan penulisan tugas akhir dengan tujuan memberi pengetahuan dan wawasan yang lebih luas bagi pembaca.
English Abstract
Art Director is one of the important roles in making a visual work. The process of creating a music video involves many important elements. The art director in the music video for “Bloom in Time” is very important to create interesting visuals and support the narrative or concept desired by Eastcape or the music video director. The Art Director is responsible for the arrangement and overall visual design of the music video. The Art Director has a key role in creating a compelling visual aesthetic and supporting the song's message in the music video. The Art Director contributes at every stage of production, from planning to execution, to create a cohesive and captivating visual experience for the viewer. This study discusses the role of an Art Director or artistic director in the whole process of shooting the music video entitled "Bloom in Time". The method used to complete this final report is Qualitative. From the results of this study, the following results were obtained: Application of artistic arrangement techniques to strengthen the message in the music video "Bloom in Time". It is hoped that the data will further strengthen the writing of the final project with the aim of providing broader knowledge and insight for readers.
