Abstract
Mutu pelayanan ruang operasi berhubungan erat dengan tindakan medis yang berisiko dan menyangkut keselamatan pasien. Saat ini ruang operasi banyak berinteraksi dengan penggunaan teknologi canggih yang memerlukan penanganan khusus dan konsentrasi. Ruang operasi yang menggunakan teknologi canggih memerlukan perawat yang kompeten sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya komplikasi, morbiditas dan mortalitas pasien. Beberapa mutu pelayanan di ruang operasi RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar masih perlu ditingkatkan terkait ketepatan pelaksanaan pembedahan, ketepatan durasi pembedahan, perilaku yang menerapkan teknik septik dan aseptik, kejadian infeksi daerah operasi juga memerlukan perhatian khusus untuk terus ditingkatkan kualitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi perawat ruang operasi terhadap kompetensi yang dimiliki. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif crossectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan partisipasi responden mencapai 89% dalam waktu 1 bulan. Hasil uji statisitik deskriptif didapatkan rata-rata persepsi perawat ruang operasi terhadap beberapa aspek kompetensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dasar, kepemimpinan, kemahiran, kolaborasi, empati, dan pengembangan profesional adalah baik. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa persepsi kompetensi perawat ruang operasi di Departemen Bedah Sentral RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang berada pada kategori baik.
English Abstract
The quality of operating room services is closely related to risky medical procedures and concerns patient safety. Currently, operating rooms interact a lot with the use of sophisticated technology that requires special handling and concentration. Operating rooms that use advanced technology require competent nurses so that they can prevent complications, morbidity, and patient mortality. Some of the quality of service in the operating room at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar still needs to be improved regarding the accuracy of carrying out the surgery, the accuracy of the duration of surgery, behavior that applies septic and aseptic techniques, and the incidence of surgical site infections also require special attention to continue to improve the quality. This research aimed to determine the perceptions of operating room nurses regarding their competencies. The research design used in this research is a cross-sectional descriptive study. Sampling used total sampling with respondent participation reaching 89% within 1 month. The results of descriptive statistical tests showed that the average perception of operating room nurses regarding several aspects of competency in basic knowledge and skills, leadership, proficiency, collaboration, empathy, and professional development was good. The conclusion from the research results was that the perception of competency of operating room nurses in the Central Surgery Department of RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is in a good category.
