Abstract
Kecamatan Pronojiwo merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang masuk dalam Kawasan Rawan Bencana (KRB) Gunung Semeru (RTRW Kabupaten Lumajang Tahun 2012-2032). Dalam catatan letusan Gunung Semeru tahun 2021 menyebabkan banyak kerusakan, kerugian, bahkan jatuhnya korban jiwa. Namun Gunung Semeru memberikan potensi hasil material berupa batu, kerikil, maupun pasir. Potensi wisata alam yang menawarkan keindahan alam salah satunya terletak di Desa Sidomulyo yaitu Air Terjun Tumpak Sewu. Potensi yang dimiliki pada sekitar kawasan Gunung Semeru menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk. Pertumbuhan penduduk pada kawasan rawan bencana meningkatkan kerentanan bencana bila tidak diimbangi oleh mitigasi yang memadahi. Perlu dilakukan upaya pengurangan risiko bencana. Bentuk upaya pengurangan risiko bencana yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pengkajian tingkat risiko bencana Gunung Semeru dan arahan mitigasi bencana. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji risiko bencana Kecamatan Pronojiwo untuk memperkecil ancaman bencana letusan Gunung Semeru. Kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif letusan Gunung Semeru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji arahan mitigasi bencana yang dapat dilakukan di Kecamatan Pronojiwo dengan analisis risiko bencana serta kombinasi Analytical Hirarci Process (AHP) - Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) dengan bantuan ahli dalam proses penilaiannya.
English Abstract
Pronojiwo sub-district is one of the sub-districts included in the Disaster Prone Area (KRB) of Mount Semeru (RTRW Lumajang Regency Year 2012-2032). In 2021, the eruption of Mount Semeru caused a lot of damage, losses, and even casualties. However, Mount Semeru provides potential material products in the form of rocks, gravel, and sand. The potential for natural tourism that offers natural beauty, one of which is located in Sidomulyo Village, namely Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. The potential around the Mount Semeru area has led to increased population growth. Population growth in disaster-prone areas increases disaster vulnerability if not balanced by adequate mitigation. It is necessary to make efforts to reduce disaster risk. The form of disaster risk reduction efforts that can be done is through the assessment of the level of disaster risk of Mount Semeru and the direction of disaster mitigation. This research will assess the disaster risk of Pronojiwo District to minimize the threat of Mount Semeru's eruption. The activity is expected to reduce the negative impact of the eruption of Mount Semeru. The purpose of this research is to assess the direction of disaster mitigation that can be carried out in Pronojiwo District with disaster risk analysis and a combination of the Analytical Hirarci Process (AHP) - Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) with expert assistance in the assessment process.
