Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh positif Related Party Transactions (RPT) terhadap Audit Report Lag (ARL) dengan koneksi politik sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor konsumen primer, sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2020-2022 yaitu sebanyak 87 perusahaan dengan jumlah observasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 132 pengamatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai RPT pembelian dan utang lain-lain berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap ARL. Selain itu, koneksi politik memoderasi secara negatif hubungan ARL dan RPT pembelian serta memoderasi secara positif hubungan ARL dan RPT pembelian serta RPT piutang.

English Abstract

This study aims to examine the positive influence of Related Party Transactions (RPT) on Audit Report Lag (ARL) with political connections as a moderating variable. The population in this research consists of primary consumer sector companies, specifically, the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2020-2022, totaling 87 companies with a total of 132 observations in this study. The data used are secondary data in the form of company annual reports. The data analysis method employed is moderation regression analysis. The research results indicate that the values of RPT purchases and other liabilities have a negative impact on ARL. Furthermore, political connections can negatively influence the relationship between ARL and RPT purchases and positively influence the relationship between ARL and RPT purchases and RPT receivables.
