Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan hasil obervasi saat melakukan studi pendahuluan, ditemukan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, siswa terlihat mengantuk, sibuk sendiri, tidak memperhatikan guru, dan kurang memahami materi yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan dan pengaruh media kartu domino terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menganalisis teks anekdot. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari lembar obervasi dan angket respon siswa tentang aktivitas guru dan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan media kartu domino dalam pembelajaran menganalisis teks anekdot dapat diterapkan dengan sangat baik dengan skor 3,67 dan berdasarkan hasil uji independen sampel t-tes dan n-gain dibuktikan terdapat pengaruh media kartu domino terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menganalisis teks anekdot sebesar 59,9055%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media kartu domino dapat memengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa jika diterapkan secara baik, benar, dan menarik.
English Abstract
Based on the results of interviews and observations during preliminary studies, problems were found in learning Indonesian, students looked sleepy, busy themselves, did not pay attention to the teacher, and did not understand the material being taught. The aim of this research is to describe the application and influence of domino card media on students' learning motivation in learning to analyze anecdotal texts. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sample for this research consisted of 32 students taken using purposive sampling technique. This research data was obtained from observation sheets and student response questionnaires regarding teacher activities and student learning motivation. The results of this research are that the application of domino card media in learning to analyze anecdotal texts can be applied very well with a score of 3.67 and based on the results of independent sample t-tests and n-gain it is proven that there is an influence of domino card media on student learning motivation in learning to analyze text. anecdote of 59.9055%. This research shows that domino card media can influence students' learning motivation if it is implemented well, correctly and interestingly.
