Abstract
Dalam tes, diperlukan suatu metode untuk mengestimasi kemampuan individu berdasarkan respons individu tersebut. Umumnya, metode yang digunakan adalah menjumlahkan respons benar atau cumulative score. Metode lain yang bisa digunakan adalah model Rasch. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah posisi individu, berdasarkan estimasi kemampuan dengan menggunakan cumulative score, tetap sama atau berubah apabila dibandingkan dengan estimasi kemampuan dengan menggunakan Rasch pada respons dikotomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data open source Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) dari pengujian tes Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018 dengan subjek siswa Indonesia berjumlah 317 subjek. Analisis kemampuan dengan menggunakan cumulative score dan Rasch akan dilakukan pada aspek Math (matematika) dan Reading (membaca). Alasan terpilihnya aspek tersebut adalah aspek tersebut memuat item-item dikotomi yang cukup untuk analisis Rasch. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Rasch, paired samples t-test, dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Cumulative score dilakukan uji beda dengan hasil Rasch dan dilakukan juga perbandingan hasil estimasi antara keduanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan posisi individu berdasarkan estimasi kemampuan dengan cumulative score dan Rasch. Perbedaan posisi individu disebabkan oleh perbedaan variasi skor sehingga apabila terdapat dua individu dengan cumulative score yang sama, memungkinkan untuk mendapatkan estimasi Rasch yang berbeda. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan untuk menentukan metode estimasi kemampuan yang akurat dalam pengkonstruksian suatu tes.
English Abstract
In a test, a method is required to estimate an individual's ability based on their responses. Typically, this is done by summing the correct responses or calculating a cumulative score. Alternatively, the Rasch model can be used. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out whether an individual's position, based on estimates using cumulative scores, remains the same or changes when compared with ability estimates using Rasch on dichotomous responses. This research uses open source data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) from the 2018 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) test with 317 Indonesian students. Ability analysis using cumulative scores and Rasch will be carried out on the Math and Reading aspects with dichotomous responses. The reason for choosing these aspects is that they contain enough dichotomous items for Rasch analysis. The data analysis techniques used are Rasch, paired samples t-test, and descriptive statistical analysis. The cumulative score and the Rash result was tested with paired samples t-test results and a comparison of the cumulative score and Rash estimation results was also carried out using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study show that there are differences in individual positions based on ability estimates with cumulative and Rasch scores. Differences in individual positions are caused by differences in score variations so that if there are two individuals with the same cumulative score, it is possible to obtain different Rasch estimates. The study's findings can aid in selecting an accurate ability estimation method when constructing a test.
