Abstract
Industri hotel pada tahun 2023 mengalami kenaikan tingkat kunjungan pasca pademi covid 19 selesai. Terutama sektor perhotelan di pulau Bali mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan usai pandemi dinyatakan usai. Perlu adanya peningkatan kinerja karyawan untuk memenuhi permintaan di sektor perhotelan Bali. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan ialah pelatihan dan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelatihan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Melia Bali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sample yang digunakan sebanyak 163 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik data menggunakan kuisioner yang di ukur dengan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan sofware SPSS versi 26. Hasil uji t menunjukkan pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selanjutnya, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kemudian, pelatihan dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
English Abstract
Hotel industry has been predicted to enjoy significant increase in occupancy in 2023 following the end of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is definitely the case for hotels in Bali, which has experienced a considerable progress after the outbreak was announced to be over. Therefore, the companies need to upgrade the performance of the employees to respond to the escalating demand. Two of the factors that affect employee performance are training and workplace environment. This research attempts to analyze the influence of training and workplace environment on employee performance at Melia Hotel in Bali. The respondents of this quantitative explanatory research were selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 163 employees. The data was harvested via Likert-scaled questionnaires and was analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS version 26. The results of the t test indicate that training significantly influences employee performance. Then, workplace environment indicating its significant impact on employee performance. Finally, training and workplace environment simultaneously affect employee performance.
