Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan platform youtube sebagai media siaran live event televisi lokal JTV Kediri. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa : 1) Program Live Event merupakan salah satu Program unggulan JTV Kediri dengan mengusung konsep penayangan program secara realtime. 2) Pemanfaatan Youtube yang dilakukan oleh JTV Kediri dapat meningkatkan branding dan engagement perusahaan. 3) Platform Youtube dalam JTV Kediri juga dijadikan sebagai media promosi melalui Live Streaming pada Program Live Event membuat JTV Kediri semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat secara luas. 4) Program Live Event JTV Kediri dijadikan sebagai salah satu program yang membantu untuk melestarikan budaya lokal Karisidenan Kediri yang dikemas secara digital agar generasi muda dapat mengetahui bahwa pegelaran tradisional dapat dikemas dengan menarik.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the use of the YouTube platform as a medium for broadcasting live events for local television JTV Kediri. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. From the research results it is known that: 1) The Live Event Program is one of JTV Kediri's flagship programs by carrying out the concept of broadcasting programs in realtime. 2) Utilization of Youtube by JTV Kediri can increase company branding and engagement. 3) The Youtube platform in JTV Kediri is also used as a promotional medium through Live Streaming in the Live Event Program to make JTV Kediri increasingly known by the wider community. 4) The JTV Kediri Live Event program is used as one of the programs that helps to preserve the local culture of Kediri Residents which is packaged digitally so that the younger generation can know that traditional performances can be packaged in an attractive way.
