Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ukuran komite audit, frekuensi pertemuan komite audit, dan keahlian komite audit menjadi faktor penentu efektivitas komite audit terhadap audit delay pada perusahaan sub sektor industri makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2019-2021. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 47 perusahaan dan sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 20 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi berganda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel yang menjadi penentu efektivitas komite audit dalam penelitian ini memberikan pengaruh terhadap audit delay. Variabel-variabel tersebut antara lain ukuran komite audit, pertemuan komite audit, dan keahlian komite audit.

English Abstract

This study aims to examine whether audit committee size, audit committee meeting frequency, and audit committee expertise determine the audit committee effectiveness on the audit delay of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. The population includes 47 companies, from which the samples of 20 companies are selected through purposive sampling method, and are analyzed by multiple regression. The test results exhibit that all variables (including audit committee size, audit committee meeting frequency, and audit committee expertise) determining the effectiveness of the audit committee in this study have an effect on audit delay.
