Abstract
Aktivitas yang dijalankan perusahaan untuk mempertahankan eksistensi tentu memiliki dampak positif dan negatif. Pelaksanaan corporate social responsibility (CSR) muncul sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral perusahaan atas aktivitas perusahaan kepada stakeholders. Selain memerhatikan pelaksanaan CSR, perusahaan juga harus memerhatikan pelaksanaan good corporate governance (GCG). CSR dan GCG berkaitan dengan penguatan reputasi perusahaan yang baik dan akan meningkatkan laba perusahaan termasuk kinerja keuangan. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh CSR dan GCG yang diproksikan dengan Dewan Direksi dan Komite Audit terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan ROA atau Return On Asset. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Penelitian menggunakan populasi perusahaan Sub Sektor Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Bumi yang Terdaftar di BEI Periode 2017-2022, kemudian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan menghasilkan 5 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa CSR berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap ROA, Dewan Direksi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ROA, Komite Audit berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ROA. Secara simultan, CSR, Dewan Direksi, dan Komite Audit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,522 menjelaskan bahwa perubahan pada variabel Y dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel X sebesar 52,2%.
English Abstract
The activities carried out by the company to maintain its existence certainly have a positive and negative impact. The implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) emerges as a form of corporate moral responsibility for the company's activities to stakeholders. In addition to paying attention to the implementation of CSR, companies must also pay attention to the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG). CSR and GCG are related to strengthening the company's reputation and will be able to increase company’s profits. This quantitative research aims to determine the effect of CSR and GCG as proxied by the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee on the financial performance as proxied by Return On Asset. The type of research used is explanatory research. The study used a population of Oil and Gas Mining Sub-Sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2022 period, then used purposive sampling method and has 5 companies as samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis. Partial research results show that CSR doesn’t has signifficant effect on ROA, the Board of Directors has a positive and significant effect on ROA, the Audit Committee has a negative and significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CSR, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee have a significant effect on ROA. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.522 explains that changes in variable Y can be explained by variable X by 52.2%.
