Abstract
Kinerja individu merupakan pola sikap individu menghadapi tugasnya, kinerja individu berperan penting untuk kelangsungan instansi oleh karena itu dengan tercapainya kinerja individu yang baik maka persepsi terhadap lingkungan kerja juga harus optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi lingkungan fisik terhadap kinerja individu pada BAPAS Kelas 1 Malang. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang diuji dengan analisis pearson product moment. Penelitian ini memiliki 51 responden yang termasuk seluruh populasi karyawan BAPAS Kelas 1 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Reactions to the Physical Work Environment Scale (RPWES) dan skala Individual Work Peformance Questionnaire (IPWQ). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara persepsi lingkungan fisik terhadap kinerja individu. Namun terdapat 2 dimensi persepsi lingkungan fisik yaitu fokus dan sense of beauty mempengaruhi kinerja individu bagi pegawai BAPAS Kelas 1 Malang.
English Abstract
The individual performance is the pattern of an individual's attitude towards their tasks. Individual performance plays a crucial role in the sustainability of an institution; therefore, with the achievement of good individual performance, the perception of the work environment should also be optimal. This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of the physical environment and individual performance at Class 1 Correctional Center Malang. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach tested with Pearson product-moment analysis. The study includes 51 respondents, representing the entire population of employees at BAPAS Class 1 Malang. The research utilizes the Reactions to the Physical Work Environment Scale (RPWES) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IPWQ) scales. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between perceptions of the physical environment and individual performance. However, there are two dimensions of physical environment perception, namely focus and sense of beauty, that influence individual performance for Class 1 Correctional Center employees.
