Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada Partisipasi Politik Masyarakat desa Karangwidoro pada Pemilihan Kepala Desa Serentak di Kabupaten Malang yang diadakan pada 5 Desember 2021. Terdapat perbedaan jumlah peserta yang signifikan pada dua desa di Kabupaten Malang. Jumlah persentase peserta tertinggi terdapat di desa Kenongo yang berada di Kecamatan Jabung, Kabupaten Malang. Sedangkan jumlah paling sedikit terdapat di desa Karangwidoro, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang. Jumlah hak pilih di desa Karangwidoro tercatat sejumlah 4.832 (empat ribu delapan ratus tiga puluh dua) suara. Jumlah persentase pemilih yang hadir pada pemilihan kepala desa serentak di desa Karangwidoro hanya berjumlah 67%. Mencari sumber utama penyebab kecilnya persentase pemilih yang hadir pada pemilihan serentak di desa Karangwidoro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori partisipasi politik dan tipologi partisipasi politik, yaitu partisipasi aktif, pasif hingga golongan putih (golput). Faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya persentase kehadiran peserta pada pemilihan kepala desa serentak yang lalu adalah kurangnya minat masyarakat (khususnya daerah cluster perumahan) dan kurangnya penyampaian informasi kepada masyarakat terkait pemilihan kepala desa serentak di desa Karangwidoro.
English Abstract
This research focuses on the Political Participation of the Karangwidoro Village people in the Simultaneous Headman Elections in Malang Regency which is on December 5, 2021. There are significant differences in the number of participants in the two villages in Malang Regency. The highest percentage of participants was in Kenongo Village, which is in Jabung District, Malang Regency. Meanwhile, the smallest number is in Karangwidoro Village, Dau District, Malang Regency. The number of voting rights in Karangwidoro village was recorded at 4,832 (four thousand eight hundred thirty two) votes. The number of voting rights in Kenongo Village was recorded at 2,120 (two thousand and twenty) votes. The percentage of voters who attended the simultaneous village head election in Karangwidoro village was only 67%. The percentage of voters who attended the simultaneous headman election in Kenongo village was 90%. This research focusing on looking for the main causes of the small percentage of voters present at the simultaneous elections in Karangwidoro village. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theory of political participation and uses a typology of political participation such as active participation, passive participation to the white group (abstentions). One point that caused the low percentage of participant attendance at the previous village head election were the lack of community interest (especially the exclusive district area) and the lack of dissemination of information to the community regarding the village head election in Karangwidoro village.
