Abstract
Pada tahun 2022, jumlah populasi lansia di Kabupaten/Kota Probolinggo mencapai sekitar 11,3% dari seluruh populasi Jawa Timur, dengan perkiraan sekitar 22.300 jiwa lansia. Namun, kesejahteraan lansia di daerah tersebut masih terkendala oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk perubahan gaya hidup, keterbatasan ekonomi, dan migrasi keluarga. Dalam konteks ini, Panti Jompo Hidayatul Islam Probolinggo sering menjadi pilihan bagi keluarga yang memiliki lansia. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memastikan pemenuhan kebutuhan lansia untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan mereka. Skripsi ini berfokus pada perancangan ulang interior panti jompo dengan pendekatan ergonomis, memperhatikan aspek seperti kenyamanan gerak dan hubungan antar ruang, termasuk lebar pintu dan koridor yang memadai, aksesibilitas bagi lansia dengan mobilitas terbatas, serta pengaturan ruang yang ergonomis. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia, memungkinkan mereka menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari secara nyaman dan mandiri, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi keluarga dan masyarakat, serta mendukung pembangunan Kota Probolinggo secara holistik.
English Abstract
In 2022, the elderly population in Probolinggo Regency/City will reach around 11.3% of the entire population of East Java, with an estimated 22,300 elderly people. However, the welfare of the elderly in this area is still hampered by various factors, including lifestyle changes, economic limitations and family migration. In this context, the Hidayatul Islam Probolinggo Nursing Home is often the choice for families with elderly people. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the needs of the elderly are met to increase their independence and well-being. This thesis focuses on redesigning nursing home interiors using an ergonomic approach, paying attention to aspects such as comfort of movement and relationships between spaces, including adequate door and corridor widths, accessibility for elderly people with limited mobility, as well as ergonomic space arrangements. It is hoped that these steps can improve the quality of life of the elderly, enabling them to carry out their daily activities comfortably and independently, as well as making a positive contribution to their families and society, as well as supporting the holistic development of the City of Probolinggo.
