Abstract

Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum Mill.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang banyak digemari dan dikembangkan di Indonesia, hal ini dikarenakan buah tomat memiliki pemanfaatan yang beragam seperti bahan baku olahan makanan, bahan baku obat – obatan, dan kosmetik. Pemanfaatan yang beragam membuat buah tomat menjadi salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Pada saat musim hujan tomat memiliki rerata bobot per hektar hanya mencapai 28,17 kwintal, sedangkan untuk musim kemarau mampu memproduksi sebesar 47,4 kwintal. Sehubungan dengan kendala sebelumnya, maka diperlukan suatu upaya modifikasi iklim mikro dengan memanfaatkan mulsa refektor dan pemilihan varietas, Tujuan penelitian adalah mempelajari pengaruh penggunaan berbagai jenis mulsa reflektor dan varietas tomat terhadap pertumbuhan atau hasil tanaman tomat. Serta hubungan antara albedo yang terbentuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat. Hipotesis penelitian ini mulsa yang berbeda akan menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang berbeda dari dua varietas tomat yang ditanam pada musim hujan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan PKPOT (Pusat Kajian Pertanian Organik Terpadu). Alat yang digunakan penelitian seperti timbangan analitik, thermometer suhu tanah, lux meter, soil analyzer tester, jangka sorong, hand-refractometer, pelubang mulsa plastik, ajir dan kamera. Kemudian untuk bahan yang digunakan selama kegiatan penelitian yaitu benih tomat varietas servo dan tymoti, mulsa plastik hitam perak (MPHP) dan mulsa jerami. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang disusun secara Faktorial yakni faktor utama V1= Var. Servo, V1 = Var. Tymoti, faktor kedua M0 = kontrol, M1 = mulsa plastik hitam perak dan M2 = Mulsa jerami terdapat 6 perlakuan. Data hasil pengamatan ini, diperoleh dengan menggunakan analisis ragam yang menggunakan taraf 5%. Jika analisis ragam ada pengaruh yang nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mulsa reflektor dan macam varietas menunjukkan adanya interaksi terhadap kadar padatan terlaut. Perlakuan mulsa reflektor juga berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, hari waktu berbunga, diameter buah, jumlah buah, bobot buah per petak panen, bobot buah per hektar, intensitas cahaya, suhu udara maksimum, kelembapan udara maksimum, suhu tanah maksimum, kelembapan tanah maksimum dan albedo. Akan tetapi, perbedaan macam varietas hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman.. Terdapat hubungan linear positif pada albedo dengan tinggi tanaman dan albedo dengan bobot buah per petak panen. Tinggi tanaman memiliki tingkat keeratan yang kuat, sedangan pada hasil bobot buah perpetak panen memiliki tingkat keeratan yang cukup kuat.

English Abstract

Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum Mill.) are one of the horticultural commodities that are popular and developed in Indonesia, this is because tomatoes have various uses, such as raw materials for processed food, raw materials for medicines and cosmetics. These diverse uses make tomatoes a horticultural commodity that has high economic value. During the rainy season tomatoes have an average weight per hectare of only 28.17 quintals, while during the dry season they can produce 47.4 quintals. In connection with these constraints, efforts to modify the microenvironment are needed by using reflector mulch and selecting varieties. The aim of the research is to study the effect of using various types of reflector mulch and tomato varieties on the growth or yield of tomato plants. As well as the relationship between the albedo formed and the growth and yield of tomato plants. The research hypothesis is that different mulches will produce different growth and yields of two tomato varieties planted in the rainy season. The research was carried out from March to June 2023. The research was carried out on PKPOT (Pusat Kajian Pertanian Organik Terpadu) land. The tools used for research include analytical scales, soil temperature thermometers, lux meters, soil analyzer testers, vernier calipers, hand refractometers, plastic mulch punchers, stakes and cameras. Then the materials used during research activities were servo and tymoti variety tomato seeds, silver black plastic mulch (MPHP) and straw mulch. The research design used was a Randomized Block Design arranged in a factorial manner, namely the main factor V1 = Var. Servo, V1 = Var. Tymoti, the second factor M0 = control, M1 = silver black plastic mulch and M2 = straw mulch, there are 6 treatments. The data from these observations were obtained using analysis of variance using a level of 5%. If the analysis of variance has a real effect, then continue with the HSD test at an error level of 5%. The research results showed that reflector mulch and various varieties showed an interaction with marine solids levels. The reflector mulch treatment also had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, flowering days, fruit diameter, number of fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per hectare, light intensity, maximum air temperature, maximum air humidity, maximum soil temperature , maximum soil moisture and albedo. However, differences in varieties only had a significant effect on plant height. There was a positive linear relationship between albedo and plant height and albedo and fruit weight per harvest plot. Plant height has a strong level of closeness, while fruit weight yield per harvest plot has a fairly strong level of closeness.
