Abstract
Pajak merupakan salah satu hal terpenting dalam upaya pembangunan negara. Perusahan memiliki tanggung jawab kepada negara untuk patuh membayar pajak dan kepada masyarakat melalui CSR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris pengaruh negatif pengungkapan CSR terhadap tax avoidance. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui melakukan studi kepustakaan dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 73 perusahaan manufaktur dan pertambangan yang terdaftar di BEI pada periode 2019-2022. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pengungkapan CSR berpengaruh negatif terhadap tax avoidance. Semakin tinggi pengungkapan CSR maka akan semakin rendah tax avoidance. Penelitian ini membuktikan teori agensi dan teori legitimasi.
English Abstract
Taxes are one of the most important things in the country's development efforts. Companies have a responsibility to comply with paying taxes and to the community through CSR. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the negative influence of CSR disclosure on tax avoidance. This research is quantitative research. Secondary data was obtained through conducting a literature study with a research sample of 73 manufacturing and mining companies listed on the IDX in the 2019-2022 period. The results of this research state that CSR disclosure has a negative effect on tax avoidance. The higher the CSR disclosure, the lower the tax avoidance. This research proves agency theory and legitimacy theory.
