Abstract
Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan merupakan kelompok yang sangat rawan mengalami penurunan kualiatas hidup, terutama mereka yang memiliki Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA). Kualitas hidup merupakan kondisi di mana seseorang sejahtera dalam fungsi kehidupan yang meliputi fisik, mental, dan sosial. Aktivitas fisik merupakan faktor yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup seseorang dan akan membentuk kebiasaan serta perilaku individu. Perilaku personal hygiene adalah salah satu cara memelihara kesehatan dengan meminimalisir pintu masuk mikroorganisme. Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku personal hygiene dengan kualitas hidup pasien ISPA di Lapas Kelas I Malang. Metode: analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pemilihan sampel secara non-purposive sampling didapatkan 100 responden sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian perilaku personal hygiene menggunakan kuesioner personal hygiene dan kualitas hidup ISPA dengan SGRQ ISPA. Domain perilaku personal hygiene dihubungkan dengan kualitas hidup ISPA menggunakan uji Spearman rho (α=0,1) melalui bantuan SPSS-25. Hasil: didapatkan seluruh responden memiliki perilaku personal hygiene baik dengan 81 responden (81%) memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik dan 19 responden (19%) dengan kualitas hidup buruk. Hubungan antara perilaku personal hygiene dengan kualitas hidup ISPA menunjukkan adanya hubungan (p=0,038; r=0,208). Kesimpulan: perilaku personal hygiene memiliki hubungan dengan kualitas hidup pasien ISPA di Lapas kelas I Malang.
English Abstract
Prisoners are a group that is very prone to experiencing a decrease in quality of life, especially those who have Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). Quality of life is a condition in which a person is prosperous in life functions that include physical, mental, and social. Physical activity is a factor that affects a person's quality of life and will shape individual habits and behaviors. Personal hygiene behavior is one way to maintain health by minimizing the entrance of microorganisms. Objectives: to determine the relationship between personal hygiene behavior and the quality of life of patients with ARI at Class I Prison in Malang. Methods: observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. Sample selection by non-purposive sampling obtained 100 respondents according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument for personal hygiene behavior used a personal hygiene questionnaire and ARI quality of life with the ARI SGRQ. The personal hygiene behavior domain was associated with ARI quality of life using the Spearman rho test (α=0.1) with the help of SPSS-25. Results: all respondents had good personal hygiene behavior with 81 respondents (81%) having good quality of life and 19 respondents (19%) with poor quality of life. The relationship between personal hygiene behavior and ARI quality of life showed a relationship (p=0.038; r=0.208). Conclusion: personal hygiene behavior has a relationship with the quality of life of patients with ARI in class I prison in Malang.
