Abstract

Dalam perencanaanya sambungan balok-kolom direncankan mampu menahan beban lateral yang disebabkan oleh gempa, ketika kapasitas beban dari sambungan balok-kolom tidak mampu menahan beban lateral maka sambungan balok-kolom menjadi rusak dan tentunya akan sulit untuk diperbaiki. Sambungan balok – kolom dapat menggunakan beberapa bahan diantaranya; kayu, baja, dan beton bertulang. Semakin pesatnya perkembangan struktur beton bertulang ketersediaan baja sebagai tulangan beton bertulang semakin menipis, sehingga perlu adanya alternatif pengganti baja sebagai tulangan. Bambu dapat digunakan sebagai tulangan beton pengganti baja, karena bambu mempunyai kuat tarik yang tinggi yang mendekati kekuatan baja. Pemakaian bambu pada tulangan beton perlu dilakukan perlakuan khusus, seperti permasalahan pada lekatan antara bambu dan semen yang kurang baik, kemudian sifat bambu yang higroskopis. Selain masalah lekatan bambu juga masih memiliki beberapa masalah lainya dan belum bisa di terima karena minimnya riset sehingga penelitian - penelitian mengenai beton bertulang bambu masih dilakukan dengan variasi pengujian dan penggunaan bahan lekatan yang berbeda beda. Penelitian ini adalah uji kuat lentur dengan permodelan balok kantilever dan pembebanan siklik. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitan sebelumnya dimana penelitian sebelumnya menggunakan permodelan pengujian balok diatas dua tumpuan. Desain dari sambungan sendiri menggunakan kait dengan jarak 6 cm pada ujung ujung bambu dan tanpa kait klem selang. Selain pada kait penelitian ini juga menggunakan rasio tulangan yang berbeda, rasio tulangan kecil (0,77%) dan rasio tulangan besar (1,21%). Penelitian yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Struktur dan Bahan Konstruksi Teknik Sipil Universitas Brawijaya Malang ini mendapatkan hasil pengujian dimana penggunaan kait dan variasi pada rasio tulangan belum berpengaruh secara signifikan untuk beban maksimum yang di hasilkan. Selain itu penggunaan kait mampu menambah bagus kinerja sambungan dalam menerima beban gempa dan penggunaan rasio tulangan yang besar akan menambah kaku dari sambungan tersebut.

English Abstract

The beam-column joint is planned to be able to withstand the lateral load caused by the earthquake, when the load capacity of the beam-column joint is not able to withstand lateral loads the beam-column joint becomes damaged and will certainly be difficult to repair. Beam-column joints can made by several materials including; Wood, steel, and reinforced concrete. Rapid development of reinforced concrete structure of steel availability as reinforced concrete reinforcement was rarefy, so there’s need to search some alternative of steel as a reinforcement. Bamboo can be used as alternative of steel reinforced, because bamboo has a high tensile strength approaching the strength of steel. Application of bamboo for concrete reinforcement needs some special treatment, such as problems on the attachment between bamboo and cement is not good, afterward the hygroscopic characteristic of bamboo was occur. In addition, bamboo attachment also still has some other problems and can not be allowed because of the lack of research. Research on bamboo reinforced concrete is still proceed with a variety of testing and some different attachment materials. Test conducted on this study was done on flexible strength test with cantilever beam modeling and cyclic loading. This study was a continuation of previous research where used beam test modeling above two suport structure. Design of joint used a hook with distance 6 cm at the end of the bamboo end and without hose clamps’s hooks. Besides the hook, this study also used some different reinforcement ratios, small reinforcement ratio (0.77%) and large reinforcement ratio (1.21%). In this study where done at Structural Laboratory and Construction Materials of Civil Engineering Universitas Brawijaya Malang, it was found that the use of hook and variation on the reinforcement ratio has no significantly effect to the maximum load produced. In addition, the use of hooks was able to improve joint’s performance on receive earthquake loads and use of large reinforcement ratios will increase the stiffness of the joint.
