Abstract
This study aims to investigate the perceptions and responses of adolescents aged 17-23 years to a short film with the theme Quarter Life Crisis. Quarter Life Crisis is a psychological phenomenon experienced by many individuals in their early adulthood, especially when facing the challenges of transition from adolescence to adulthood. This research method uses a qualitative approach using in-depth interview techniques with a sample of adolescents aged 17-23 years who have watched a short film with the theme Quarter Life Crisis. This research will explore how this short film reflects the experiences, conflicts, and feelings experienced by adolescents in facing a quarter life crisis. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of adolescent perceptions and responses to the theme of Quarter Life Crisis in short films. The research findings will provide insight into the relevance of this theme to the lives of today's youth, as well as whether short films can be an effective tool for communicating and overcoming the psychological challenges they experience. It is hoped that the conclusions of this research can provide valuable information for filmmakers, psychologists, and interested parties in developing audiovisual content that is relevant to the needs and desires of adolescents aged 17-23 years. This research also has the potential to pave the way for further research in the field of adolescent psychology and the effect of films on their mental health
