Abstract
Love language merupakan sebuah cara individu dalam mengkomunikasikan cinta atau perasaan terhadap pasangannya yang dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dalam hubungan romantis berpacaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk kontribusi dalam memahami keterkaitan antara love language dengan relationship satisfaction pada dewasa awal. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan instrumen penelitian skala Five Love Languages (FLL) dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). Responden penelitian terdiri dari individu berusia 18-25 tahun dan pernah menjalani hubungan romantis berpacaran. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa variabel love language secara bersama-bersama berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap relationship satisfaction. kemudian, variabel quality time berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap variabel relationship satisfaction. Sementara variabel word of affirmation, receiving gifts, act of service, physical touch tidak berpengaruh berpengaruh terhadap relationship satisfaction.
English Abstract
Love language is a way for individuals to communicate love or feelings toward their partners, which can enhance satisfaction in romantic dating relationships. This research was conducted as a contribution to understanding the relationship between love language and relationship satisfaction in early adulthood. The researcher used a quantitative correlational method with research instruments, including the Five Love Languages (FLL) scale and the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). Research respondents consisted of individuals aged 18-25 who had been in romantic dating relationships. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that the love language variable collectively had a simultaneous and significant impact on relationship satisfaction. Additionally, the quality time variable had a partial and significant influence on relationship satisfaction, while the word of affirmation, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch variables did not have a significant impact on relationship satisfaction.
