Abstract

Dalam analisis regresi, data yang tidak memenuhi asumsi homoskedastisitas masih dapat dianalisis menggunakan metode Weighted Least Square (WLS) dan analisis regresi kuantil. Pada penelitian ini kedua analisis tersebut digunakan untuk menganalisis data inflasi. Inflasi berdasarkan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK), terdiri atas inflasi umum dan inflasi yang dikelompokkan ke dalam beberapa kelompok pengeluaran antara lain kelompok makanan, minuman, dan tembakau; kelompok pakaian dan alas kaki; kelompok perumahan, air, listrik, dan bahan bakar rumah tangga; kelompok perlengkapan, peralatan, dan pemeliharaan rutin rumah tangga; kelompok kesehatan; kelompok transportasi; kelompok informasi, komunikasi, dan jasa keuangan; kelompok rekreasi, olahraga dan budaya; kelompok pendidikan; kelompok penyediaan makanan dan minuman/restoran; kelompok perawatan pribadi dan jasa lainnya. Tujuan penelitian untuk membandingkan hasil analisis kedua model regresi dan mengetahui pengaruh inflasi 11 kelompok pengeluaran tersebut terhadap inflasi umum. Data inflasi yang digunakan adalah data inflasi Provinsi NTT periode tahun 2020 hingga 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model regresi berganda dengan metode WLS lebih sesuai untuk menganalisis data inflasi dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari inflasi kelompok pengeluaran IHK terhadap inflasi umum.

English Abstract

In regression analysis, data that does not meet the the assumptions of homoscedasticity can still be analyzed by using the Weighted Least Squares (WLS) method and quantile regression analysis. In this research, both analyses are used to analyze inflation data. Inflation based on the CPI consists of general inflation and commodity groupings as follows: food, beverages, and tobacco groups; clothing and footwear groups; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups; equipment, tools, and routine maintenance groups; health groups; transportation group; information, communication and financial services groups; recreation, sports, and cultural groups; educational groups; food and beverage/restaurant supply groups; personal care and other services groups. The aim of the research is to compare the results of the analysis of the two regression models and determine the influence of inflation in the commodity grouping on general inflation. The inflation data used is East Nusa Tenggara Province inflation in the period of 2020-2022. The results of the research show that the multiple regression model using the WLS method is more suitable for analyzing inflation data, and there is a significant influence of inflation in the CPI expenditure group to the general inflation.
