Abstract
Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi caption press release media sosial Instagram @pemkotbatu_official sebagai media sosial pemerintah Kota Batu untuk pelayanan informasi kepada masyarakat dengan upaya untuk menaikan insight Instagram. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deksriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa melakukan evaluasi press release pada caption instagram @pemkotbatu_official dapat menaikan insight instagram. Dengan diadakannya teknik penulisan press release yang tepat di caption instagram, maka masyarakat pengikut instagram @pemkotbatu_official tertarik untuk membaca caption pada postingan instagram tersebut. Media sosial harus mampu dioptimalisasikan sebagai media penghubung antara Pemerintah dengan masyarakat, sehingga mampu menciptakan citra positif pemerintah. Dengan terciptanya caption press release yang sudah dievaluasi, diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan untuk Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Batu sehingga dapat menigkatkan insight instagram @pemkotbatu_official.
English Abstract
This observation aims to evaluate the press release caption of the Instagram social media @pemkotbatu_official as the Batu City government's social media for providing information services to the public in an effort to increase Instagram insight. This type of research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation techniques. Based on the results of observations, it is known that evaluating press releases on the Instagram caption @pemkotbatu_official can increase Instagram insight. By holding the right press release writing technique in the Instagram caption, the @pemkotbatu_official Instagram followers are interested in reading the caption on the Instagram post. Social media must be able to be optimized as a media liaison between the Government and the public, so as to create a positive image of the government. With the creation of a press release caption that has been evaluated, it is hoped that it can become input for the Batu City Communication and Information Service so that it can increase @pemkotbatu_official Instagram insight.
