Abstract

Cabai merah keriting (Capsicum annuum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang mempunyai prospek baik untuk dikembangkan. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan industri makanan membutuhkan ketersediaan cabai merah sepanjang waktu. Produktivitas tanaman cabai merah di Indonesia pada tahun 2015 – 2019 berkisar 8,46 ton/hektar-1. Tanaman cabai membutuhkan unsur hara dalam jumlah yang cukup dan seimbang. Unsur hara memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan hasil tanaman yang dibudidayakan. Tanaman cabai merupakan tanaman berumur panjang dan pemetikan buah secara terus menerus sehingga membutuhkan pasokan unsur hara yang tinggi. Pada umumnya tanaman solanaceae memerlukan pasokan unsur hara yang tinggi seperti nitrogen, fosfor dan kalsium. Tanaman membutuhkan tambahan unsur hara melalui pemupukan untuk memenuhi pasokan unsur hara yang ada di dalam tanah. Oleh karena itu untuk memelihara dan meningkatkan kualitas tanah produktivitas diperlukan kombinasi antara pupuk anorganik dan pupuk organik. Penelitian di laksanakan pada bulan Juni – Desember 2021 di Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang, ketinggian tempat 625 mdpl. . Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 12 perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali yaitu: monokultur cabai, 100% anorganik, monokultur cabai, 75% N + 20 t Pupuk Kandang + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, monokultur cabai, 75% N + 20 t Pupuk Kandang + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, monokultur cabai, 50% N + 30 t Pupuk Kandang + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, cabai + pakcoy, 100% anorganik, cabai + pakcoy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, cabai + pakcoy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, cabai + pakcoy, 50% N + 30 t Pupuk Kandang + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, cabai + kubis, 100% anorganik, cabai + kubis, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, cabai + kubis, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, cabai + kubis, 50% N + 30 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1. Adapun parameter yang diamati meliputi: parameter pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman cabai keriting (cm), jumlah daun cabai keriting (helai) per tanaman, diameter batang cabai keriting (mm), pengamatan panen dan pengamatan produktivitas lahan. Hasil penelitian, secara keseluruhan memperlihatkan Kombinasi perlakuan yang sesuai pada budidaya tanaman cabai keriting adalah cabai + pakcoy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1ˉ¹ dimana menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan komponen hasil yang tinggi pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang dan komponen hasil per hektar yaitu 8,7 ton/hektar. Sistem pengelolaan hara terpadu dan tumpangsari cabai dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan lahan berdasarkan nilai LER> 1.

English Abstract

Red curly chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is a horticultural commodity that has good prospects for development. The increase population and food industry require the availability of red chilies all the time. The red chili plants productivity of Indonesia in 2015 – 2019 was around 8.46 tons/ha-1. This figure is still low, because the optimal cultivation techniques of red chili plants can reach productivity 22 tons/ ha -1. Chili plant require nutrients in sufficient and balanced amount. Nutrients play an important role in increasing crop yields. Chili plant is long-lived plants and harvest fruit continuously so that require a high supply of nutrients. In general, solanaceae plants require a high supply of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and calcium. Plants need additional nutrients through fertilization to meet supply of nutrients in the soil. Fertilizer contains nutrients that are important for plants to grow and development their life phase. The productivity of chili plants in Indonesia is quite low. The reason is low land productivity. Low productivity of intensive planting land and excessive use of inorganic fertilizers. Fertile land that has been used for chili cultivation will also experience a decline in fertility. The decrease in soil fertility is caused by the excessive use of inorganic fertilizers, if it continues, it will reduce the quality of the soil and environmental health which will affect the chili cultivation process. Therefore, to maintain and improve the quality of soil productivity, a combination of inorganic fertilizers and organic fertilizers is needed. This research be conducted in June – December 2023 in Wonorejo Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisted of 12 treatments, namely : monoculture chilli, 100% anorganik , monoculture chilli, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, monoculture chilli, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, monoculture chilli, 50% N + 30 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, chilli + bok choy, 100% anorganik, chilli + bok choy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, chilli + bok choy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, chilli + bok choy, 50% N + 30 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, chilli + cabbage, 100% anorganik, chilli + cabbage, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 10 ml 1-1, chilli + cabbage, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1, chilli + cabbage, 50% N + 30 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-1. The parameters observed included: plant height growth parameters (cm), number of leaves (strands) per plant, stem diameter (mm), harvest observations and observations of land productivity. The results showed that the appropriate treatment combination for cultivating curly chili plants is, chili + bok choy, 75% N + 20 t PK + PGPR 20 ml 1-11. It shows high growth and components result in the variables of plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter also the highest yield component per hectare, 8.6 tonnes/ha-1. An integrated nutrient management system and intercropping of can increase land utilization on LER values > 1.
