Abstract

Mahasiswa Membangun Desa (MMD) merupakan program yang memfasilitasi program kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya. Program tersebut memiliki aplikasi berbasis web untuk memudahkan dalam penyebaran informasi, pengumpulan berkas, dan sebagainya. Penulis membuat hipotesis bahwa penambahan ikon pada tombol-tombol dan perubahan warna pada kuesioner non tematik di dashboard MMD mampu meningkatkan task completion time, meningkatkan usability score, dan mengurangi error rate. Penulis juga ingin mengetahui conversion rate dari duplikasi dalam fitur logbook MMD. Penulis membandingkan desain kontrol lalu membuat desain treatment yang sudah diperbaiki berdasarkan usability heuristic yang ditentukan. Pada penambahan ikon pada tombol-tombol dan perubahan warna pada kuesioner non tematik di dashboard MMD pengujian dilaksanakan secara moderated dengan total 10 responden dan pada duplikasi dalam fitur logbook dilakukan secara unmoderated dengan total 30 responden. Pengujian task completion time dan error rate diuji menggunakan Maze lalu pengujian usability score diuji menggunakan SUS yang diterapkan di Google Form dan pengujian conversion rate langsung diuji pada website MMD. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan responden membutuhkan waktu yang lebih singkat saat menggunakan desain treatment namun pada tingkat error rate dari kedua desain tidak ada perbedaan. System usability scale berguna untuk menguji usability score, hasil skor pada desain treatment lebih tinggi dibanding dengan desain kontrol. Pada pengujian conversion rate, 29 dari 30 responden menggunakan tombol dan sisanya menggunakan tab bar.

English Abstract

Mahasiswa Membangun Desa (MMD) is a program that facilitates the real work study (KKN) program of all Brawijaya University students. The program has a web-based application to facilitate information dissemination, file collection, and so on. The author hypothesizes that adding icons to buttons and changing the color of non-thematic questionnaires on the MMD dashboard can increase task completion time, increase usability score, and reduce error rate. The author also wanted to know the conversion rate of duplication in the MMD logbook feature. The author compares the control design and then makes an improved treatment design based on the usability heuristic determined. On the addition of icons on buttons and color changes on non-thematic questionnaires on the MMD dashboard, testing was carried out in a moderated manner with a total of 10 respondents and on duplication in the logbook feature was carried out in an unmoderated manner with a total of 30 respondents. Task completion time and error rate testing were tested using Maze then usability score testing was tested using SUS implemented in Google Form and conversion rate testing was directly tested on the MMD website. The test results show that respondents need a shorter time when using the treatment design but there is no difference in the error rate of the two designs. System usability scale is useful to test the usability score, the score on the treatment design is higher than the control design. In the conversion rate test, 29 out of 30 respondents used the button and the rest used the tab bar.
