Abstract

Keloid dan skar hipertrofi dapat dikatakan sebagai penyakit kulit yang seringkali diabaikan oleh penderitanya karena dianggap tidak serius. Namun, jika diabaikan dan tidak segera diobati dengan benar, penyakit kulit dapat mengakibatkan rasa tidak nyaman serta mampu menurunkan kualitas hidup penderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna memperoleh data profil kualitas hidup pasien keloid dan skar hipertrofi berdasarkan skor Dermatology Life Quality Index di Klinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUD DR. Saiful Anwar Malang. Metode desain observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional (potong lintang) diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Populasi riset yakni seluruh pasien dengan keloid dan skar hipertrofi yang datang ke Klinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUD DR. Saiful Anwar Malang. Untuk sampelnya yakni semua pasien keloid dan skar hipertrofi yang sesuai kriteria inklusi serta eksklusi. Analisis data menerapkan analisis Independent T-test serta Anova. Hasil riset membuktikan jika tidak terdapat perbedaan skor DLQI yang signifikan berdasarkan kejadian keloid dan skar hipertrofi, usia, jenis kelamin, penyebab, lokasi dan jenis terapi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan kejadian keloid dan skar hipertrofi, usia, jenis kelamin, penyebab, lokasi dan jenis terapi tidak mengalami perbedaan skor DLQI yang berbeda signifikan. Adapun keterbatasan dari penelitian ini yakni terbatasnya jumlah subjek penelitian yang di dapatkan dan keterbatasan komunikasi dalam menggali data.

English Abstract

Keloids and hypertrophic scars can be said to be skin diseases that are often ignored by sufferers because they are not considered serious. However, if ignored and not treated properly, skin diseases can cause discomfort and can reduce the patient's quality of life. This study aims to obtain data on the quality of life profile of patients with keloid and hypertrophic scars based on the Dermatology Life Quality Index score at the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. Analytic observational design method with cross sectional research design was applied in this study. The research population is all patients with keloids and hypertrophic scars who come to the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic at Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. The sample was all patients with keloids and hypertrophic scars who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis applied Independent T-test and Anova analysis. The results prove that there are no significant differences in DLQI scores based on the incidence of keloids and hypertrophic scars, age, gender, cause, location and type of therapy. This shows that differences in the incidence of keloids and hypertrophic scars, age, gender, cause, location and type of therapy do not have significantly different DLQI scores. The limitations of this study are the limited number of research subjects obtained and limited communication in exploring data.
