Abstract

Tanaman jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) telah banyak digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Produksi buah jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur mengalami penurunan yang dapat ditinjau berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia (2022) pada tahun 2021 sebesar 74 kwintal dan tahun 2022 sebesar 45 kwintal. Penurunan produksi jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) disebabkan oleh permasalahan budidaya yang kurang tepat, alih fungsi lahan atau media tanam tempat tumbuh tanaman. Salah satu permasalahan yang kerap terjadi pada budidaya tanaman yaitu pemadatan tanah. Tingkat kepadatan tanah dapat mempengaruhi tingkat ketahanan penetrasi tanah maka akar membutuhkan kekuatan yang lebih besar untuk menembus tanah sehingga membutuhkan upaya berupa pengaplikasian lubang resapan biopori dengan penambahan bahan organik pupuk kompos dan pupuk kandang kambing. Lubang resapan biopori (LRB) merupakan sebuah teknologi yang berguna dalam meningkatkan tingkat resapan air berupa lubang silindris dengan bentuk vertikal dan berdiameter yang tidak terlalu besar. Upaya tersebut diharapkan mampu memperbaiki kualitas tanah seperti sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022-Februari 2023 yang terletak di kebun jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) Badan Standardisasi Instrumen Pertanian (BSIP) Jestro Desa Tlekung, Kota Batu. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dari 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan dan ulangan meliputi P0 (kontrol), P1 (LRB kosong), P2 (LRB+pupuk kompos 15 ton/ha), P3 (LRB+kompos 30 ton/ha), P4 (LRB+pupuk kandang kambing 15 ton/ha), P5 (LRB+pupuk kandang kambing 30 ton/ha). Parameter sifat fisik dan kimia tanah terhadap ketahanan penetrasi tanah terdiri berat isi, berat jenis, porositas, kadar air dan kandungan c-organik Perlakuan P5 (LRB+pupuk kandang kambing 30 ton/ha) perlakuan terbaik terhadap ketahanan penetrasi tanah. Data hasil pengukuran ketahanan penetrasi tanah pada P5 (LRB+pupuk kandang kambing 30 ton/ha) pada 6 BSA yaitu sebesar 0,43 Mpa (0-20 cm), 0,75 Mpa (20-40 cm) dan 0,87 Mpa (40-60 cm). Hubungan antara berat isi tanah dengan ketahanan penetrasi tanah menunjukkan korelasi positif-signifikan. Hasil uji korelasi antara kadar air tanah dan kandungan C-organik tanah dengan ketahanan penetrasi tanah setiap kedalaman menunjukkan korelasi negatif signifikan dan nilai uji regresi linear berganda 0,59 (0-20 cm), 0,89 (20-40 cm) dan 0,92 (40-60 cm). Penurunan ketahanan penetrasi tanah dipengaruhi penurunan berat isi tanah, peningkatan kadar air tanah dan peningkatan kandungan C-organik ,sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan kualitas tanah pada kebun jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) BSIP Jestro, Desa Tlekung, Kota Batu.

English Abstract

The lemon plant (Citrus limon) is very popular among Indonesian people. Production of lemons (Citrus limon) in Malang City, East Java has decreased which can be seen based on data from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (2022) in 2021 it will be 74 quintals and in 2022 it will be 45 quintals. The decrease in lemon (Citrus limon) production was caused by problems with inappropriate cultivation, conversion of land or planting media where the plants grow. One of the problems that often occurs in plant cultivation is soil compaction. The level of soil density can affect the level of soil penetration resistance, so the roots need greater strength to penetrate the soil, so it requires efforts in the form of applying biopore absorption holes with the addition of compost and goat manure. Biopore absorption holes are a technology that is useful in increasing the level of water absorption in the form of cylindrical holes with a vertical shape and a diameter that is not too large. These efforts are expected to be able to improve soil quality such as the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. The research activities were carried out in June 2022 – February 2023, located in the lemon garden (Citrus limon) of the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Agency (BSIP) Jestro, Tlekung Village, Batu City. The research used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) method consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. Treatments and repetitions include P0 (control), P1 (empty biopore absorption holes), P2 (biopore absorption holes+compost 15 tons/ha), P3 (biopore absorption holes+compost 30 tons/ha), P4 (biopore absorption holes +goat manure 15 tons/ha) , P5 (biopore absorption holes+goat manure 30 tons/ha). Parameters of physical and chemical properties of soil on soil penetration resistance consist of bulk density, particle density, soil porosity, water content and c-organic content. P5 treatment is the best treatment on soil penetration resistance has a significant effect. Data on the results of soil penetration at P5 (biopore absorption holes+goat manure 30 tons/ha) based on the depth level at 6 BSA is 0.43 Mpa at a depth of 0-20 cm, 0.75 Mpa at a depth of 20-40 cm and 0.87 Mpa at a depth of 40-60 cm. Between soil density and soil penetration resistance shows a significant positive correlation. The results of the correlation test between soil water content, soil C-organic content and soil penetration resistance at each depth showed a significant negative correlation and the multiple linear regression test values were 0.59 (0-20 cm), 0.89 (20-40 cm) and 0.92 (40-60 cm). The decrease in soil penetration resistance was influenced by a decrease in soil density, an increase in soil water content and an increase in organic C content, resulting in an increase in soil quality in the BSIP Jestro lemon (Citrus limon) orchard, Tlekung Village, Batu City.
