Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat dan Teologi (STFT) Widya Sasana merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan di Kota Malang. Dalam pelaksanaan pendaftaran mahasiswa baru, Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat dan Teologi (STFT) Widya Sasana masih terkendala akan proses pendaftaran mahasiswa baru masih dilakukan secara manual dan sistem dalam hal ini Google Form. Keterbatasan ini membuat semua kegiatan dengan tujuan yang sama yang dilakukan berulang, kurang maksimal dan memakan waktu yang lama. Maka dari itu, analisis dan evaluasi proses bisnis pendaftaran mahasiswa baru perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut agar proses pendaftaran mahasiswa baru dapat berjalan lebih efisien. Pertama, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi proses bisnis pendaftaran mahasiswa baru. Analisis 5 whys digunakan untuk menggali akar permasalahan kendala yang ditemui pada proses bisnis pendaftaran mahasiswa baru. Selanjutnya, metode Business Process Improvement (BPI) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi, memodelkan, dan memperbaiki alur proses bisnis. Analisis BPI menghasilkan rekomendasi proses bisnis yang lebih baik (To-Be) dari pada proses bisnis saat ini (As-Is). Analisis waktu digunakan untuk mengetahui efektivitas waktu dan resource analysis untuk mengetahui besaran biaya proses bisnis. Hasil dari simulasi waktu didapatkan peningkatan secara signifikan yaitu, 3 hari 2 jam 4 menit untuk pendaftaran S1 dan 1 hari 11 jam 39 menit 49 detik untuk pendaftaran S2. Sedangkan hasil dari analisis resource didapatkan total fixed cost pada S1 sebesar 293,07% dan total cost unit sebesar 34,35%. Untuk S2, total fixed cost sebesar 348,84% dan total cost unit sebesar 26,88%. Pada tahapan akhir dibuatkan diaagram value chain for higher eductaion untuk mengetahui sumber daya yang terlibat dalam memberikan nilai kepada para pemangku kepentingan di sektor pendidikan tinggi.

English Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat dan Teologi (STFT) Widya Sasana is an educational institution in the city of Malang. In the implementation of new student registration, the School of Philosophy and Theology (STFT) Widya Sasana still faces constraints on the new student registration process which is still done manually and the system in this case is Google Form. This limitation makes all activities with the same purpose that are carried out repeatedly, less optimal and time consuming. Therefore, analysis and evaluation of the new student registration business process need to be done to overcome these problems so that the new student registration process can run more efficiently. First, this study identifies the new student registration business process. 5 whys analysis is used to dig up the root causes of the problems encountered in the new student registration business process. Next, the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method is used to identify, model, and improve the business process flow. BPI analysis produces a better business process recommendation (To-Be) than the current business process (AsIs). Time analysis is used to determine the effectiveness of time and resource analysis to determine the amount of cost of the business process. The results of the time simulation obtained a significant increase, namely, 3 days 2 hours 4 minutes for S1 registration and 1 day 11 hours 39 minutes 49 seconds for S2 registration. While the results of resource analysis obtained a total fixed cost on S1 of 293.07% and a total cost unit of 34.35%. For S2, the total fixed cost is 348.84% and the total cost unit is 26.88%. At the final stage, a value chain diagram for higher education is made to identify the resources involved in providing value to stakeholders in the higher education sector.
