Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi secara signifikan mengubah cara kerja manusia. Dengan teknologi informasi terintegrasi yang canggih, bisnis dapat beroperasi lebih efisien dan produktif. PT Kode Aplikasi Indonesia atau Nusantara Beta Studio (NBS) merupakan perusahaan teknologi terkemuka yang fokus pada pengembangan perangkat lunak kreatif. Saat ini, perusahaan memiliki lebih dari 70 karyawan. NBS menggunakan aplikasi Gaji.id untuk manajemen karyawan, namun dianggap kurang efisien karena tidak mencakup seluruh kebutuhan manajemen karyawan, seperti pengajuan cuti dan lembur yang masih menggunakan Google Form. Sehingga karyawan kesulitan untuk mengetahui perkembangan dari pengajuan yang telah mereka ajukan. Sebagai solusi, NBS ingin membuat aplikasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan manajemen karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode User-Centered Design dengan tujuan memahami karakteristik pengguna, menentukan fungsionalitas, dan mengukur nilai usability pada prototipe. Tingkat usability pada efektivitas prototipe Human Resources dengan 9 tugas mencapai 66%, dengan rentang ± 31% untuk 4 dari 5 pengguna yang berhasil dan 80%, dengan rentang ± 20% untuk yang tugas berhasil semua. Tingkat usability aspek efisiensi pada T5 menunjukkan tingkat efisiensi rendah dengan waktu penyelesaian rata-rata 42 detik, dengan rentang ± 20 detik. Sementara T7 mencapai tingkat efisiensi tinggi dengan rata-rata waktu penyelesaian 5 detik, dengan rentang ± 2 detik. Tingkat kepuasan pengguna diukur dengan System Usability Scale mencapai skor 83, dengan rentang ± 9,8 detik.

English Abstract

The significant advancement in information technology has transformed the way humans work. With sophisticated integrated information technology, businesses can operate more efficiently and productively. PT Kode Aplikasi Indonesia, also known as Nusantara Beta Studio (NBS), is a leading technology company that focuses on the development of creative software. Currently, the company has more than 70 employees. NBS uses the Gaji.id application for employee management, but it is considered inefficient as it does not cover all the needs of employee management, such as leave and overtime requests, which still rely on Google Forms. As a result, employees find it challenging to track the progress of their submitted requests. As a solution, NBS aims to create an application to address these employee management issues.This research adopts the User-Centered Design method with the goal of understanding user characteristics, determining functionalities, and measuring usability values in the prototype. The usability level in the effectiveness of the Human Resources prototype with 9 tasks reaches 66%, with a range of ± 31% for 4 out of 5 successful users and 80%, with a range of ± 20% for those who successfully completed all tasks. The usability level in the efficiency aspect of Task 5 indicates a low efficiency level, with an average completion time of 42 seconds, and a range of ± 20 seconds. Meanwhile, Task 7 achieves a high efficiency level with an average completion time of 5 seconds, and a range of ± 2 seconds. User satisfaction is measured using the System Usability Scale, reaching a score of 83 with a range of ± 9.8 seconds.
