Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh kepemimpinan transaksional dan komitmen organisasional terhadap intention to stay dimediasi kepuasan kerja pada PT. X dan PT. Y. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel jenuh, yaitu semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada karyawan PT. X dan PT. Y dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 122 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan alat analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transaksional dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intention to stay, sedangkan komitmen organisasional berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap intention to stay. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi kepemimpinan transaksional dan komitmen organisasional terhadap intention to stay.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of transactional leadership and organizational commitment on the intention to stay in PT X and PT Y with the mediation of job satisfaction. Using saturated sampling, all 122 employees of PT X and PT Y were selected as this quantitative research’s samples. The data was harvested via questionnaires and was analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). This study finds that transactional leadership and job satisfaction positively and significantly influences the intention to stay and that organizational commitment insignificantly and positively influences the said intention. Further, job satisfaction mediates the impacts of transactional leadership and organizational commitment on the intention to stay.
