Abstract

Set Designer merupakan seseorang yang bertanggung jawab mendesain dan menciptakan latar di sebuah film dan drama panggung. Mereka bekerja memvisualisasikan pandangan sutradara menjadi sebuah asset 3 dimensi yang dapat disaksikan oleh anggota crew yang lain. Set Designer bertanggung jawab atas rancangan serta pembuatan set yang akan digunakan maka dari itu digunakanlah cara menggunakan 3D Asset Design guna menyampaikan pandangan sutradara secara detail kepada divisi inti crew dan juga crew-crew lain yang bersangkutan dengannya. Dengan tercapainya pemaparan pikiran sutradara secara detail kepada yang lain diharapkan dapat memperjelas visual yang ingin dicapai kepada penonton nantinya.

English Abstract

A set designer is someone who is responsible for designing and creating sets for films and stage plays. They work to visualize the director's view into a 3-dimensional asset that can be witnessed by other crew members. The Set Designer is responsible for the design and manufacture of the sets that will be used, therefore the 3D Asset Design method is used to convey the director's views in detail to the core crew division and also other crews concerned with it. By achieving a detailed presentation of the director's thoughts to others, it is hoped that it will clarify the visuals to be achieved for the audience later.
